Nice - Edit
This is a nice restaurant, not a typical Thai style jay restaurant. It has an air-conditioned inside room, some garden seating and a coffee and smoothie bar. There is a menu to order from and all savoury dishes appear to be vegan. They have Thai food such as fried holy basil, fried rice, soups, etc. They also have a few western dishes such as a burger and vegan pizza but we didn't try them. They also have a large ice-cream selection but it was disappointing that only three flavours are vegan and all the posh looking sundae combos they have are made with dairy.
Read moreIt is quite a bit more expensive than a jay restaurant.
From the outside it's a little hard to spot as you'll see the sign for the coffee shop part of it before you'll see the sign that signs vegan. Might be easier during the day, we went in the evening and appreciated that they were open until quite late and they didn't rush out at 8 even though they normally close then.
The dishes tasted pretty good although our hang ley curry was a measly portion for 100 baht, the others were bigger even though they were cheaper!
Free water.
Definitely give this place a go but expect to pay about 100 a dish and expect to need 1-2 dishes per person.
Finally, we were not happy that they did not have brown rice, which is almost unheard of for a veggie resto.

Service, Prices and Food= Best! - Edit
One of the best vegetarian restaurants I have found in Thailand. They also have vegan dishes. We are a group of four, so we tried many of the dishes and everything was delicious and cheap. You really have to visit them if you like to eat vegetarian or vegan!

No Brown Rice ?!?! - Edit
Charming garden setting or air-con room. I was too early for the buffet. Ordered some food instead. It was good, a small portion. I would have loved to stay longer and see more of the buffet. Well worth a visit in Lampang. However if there is no brown rice, I won't be back again, hence the low rating

Beautiful food and hospitality *new location* - Edit
First thing to note about this hidden gem is that the location has changed to inside the Baan Kumwan boutique hotel. The new address is 96 Suandok rd., Suandok, Muang, Lampang, Lampang, 52100, Thailand. Opening hours are 11am till 8pm Monday - Saturday and they offer an all you can eat buffet for 99baht per person, All vegan. The owners and staff are so welcoming and we enjoyed the conversation. The food is delicious and a wide variety. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Lampang!

A must-eat place - Edit
This is a must visit in Lampang if you're vegetarian/vegan, please make sure you don't miss this place! Hong (not sure if I spelled right) is an amazing chef, so creative and so fun to talk to. Her entrepreneurial spirit will wow you away, just ask her about her business! If you're going to order a few dishes, it is highly recommended that you make a reservation with her 1+ day(s) ahead, because — as the name suggests — her main business model is food delivery, she takes care of the daily meals of dozens upon dozens of clients (cooking & delivery), so their kitchen may be busy when you arrive. For more fun, ask her to cook something off the menu, her creativity will be sure to inspire you :)

Great vegan restaurant - Edit
We had an excelent meal in Waengbun restaurant - a vegan duck and fish, both very nicely prepared with interesting spices. The passion fruit shake was delicious as well. The Waembung has a quiet shaded garden and also cozy indoor dining space. The owners are very friendly and they speak perfect english. We hope to come back soon.

Inexpensive gourmet vegan on the [censored] River - Edit
This place serves what I would consider to be vegan gourmet food at reasonable prices (50 - 90 Baht per dish). Cooked to order, definitely not buffet. Creative menu. A friend and I had the mock duck, mushrooms, and mixed vegetables. All the dishes had interesting textures and great flavors, nice presentation. The back of the restaurant overlooks the [censored] River and we ate outside at a table near the river. The woman who runs the place is vegan and speaks excellent English. She will tell you about the place. They grow many (all?) of their own vegetables. Interestingly, they also deliver. Ask her about her delivery service. There are a couple of tables inside in a very homelike atmosphere. I was staying with friends who live on the [censored] River just a five minute walk from the restaurant. The place was a really nice surprise. A great place to go when in Lampang.
