The wait time was an hour. I was so disappointed when I got the food. Left an honest review and the owner got defensive. Will never go back.

I wouldn't even recommend this restaurant to a rat. This business is extremely unprofessional. The owner hates everyone. He is also very misogynistic and said he will implement a "NO BONNET POLICY" which is extremely anti-black and misogynistic, considering this is a black owned business. Black women, beware...
Many of the items are barely vegan. All of their desserts are weeks old and even begin to mold, so please be aware before you buy your little kid a cupcake. They never have any items on the menu and they love to trick you into spending more money than you need to. I also do not recommend working here, as the wages are a lie. All of the negative reviews are true so please eat at your own RISK.

The manager at Vulgar Vegan in the Stockbridge area is awful, treats the employees with no respect whatsoever and steals their tips!!! The entire business is poorly ran and unprofessional. I advise no one to go here to enjoy a vegan meal. This restaurant is surely going down the drain and needs to be SHUT DOWN!! I would give this place NO STARS but happycow won’t let me.

The owner is extremely rude!!!! I’ve tried my best to support small local businesses especially black-owned but this place has reminded me of why I simply shouldn’t. I ordered my food through a third party (DoorDash) and was given an average of an hour for my food to arrive. No big deal. While waiting, I received a call from DoorDash informing me that the merchant (Vulgar Vegan) would need an additional 35 minutes to prepare my food. I agree as I’ve eaten here several times before and had already placed an order for my food. Shortly after the call, I received a text message from DoorDash letting me know that my order had been cancelled by the merchant. I proceed to drive there because I needed to simply understand what happened. I was even going to re-order my food because they ALWAYS don’t have SOMETHING at this place so o figured perhaps that’s what it was. Nope, the owner rudely dismissed me and tell me to contact DoorDash. They were on the phone already. Again, DoorDash explained to me that the merchant cancelled my order and not them. The owner, with his disrespectful ass, tells me that it’s DoorDash that’s messing up the order when clearly it isn’t! He also proceeds to call me out of my name (b&$9h) all because I wanted to know what happened. Again, I was even going to reorder my food!!! There were customers walking in and some standing outside saying that the owner was always rude to them and that even they stopped eating from there. Well, after spending good money (this order was $87.00) and being treated in such a terrible manner I will no longer be eating here nor will I recommend eating here. The energy of a person always transfers to their food. He’s lost business with me along with my friends, family and social media followers (I’m a vegan enthusiast with a large platform).

Went in today to take advantage of the $10 happy hour advertisement on Instagram. Had a terrible experience with the tall fat guy. The lady cashier says that the deal is actually to buy one meal at full price and get the second for $10. I explain that the Instagram post mentions nothing of that and she says yeah we have been having that issue all day. Ben comes over and explains it says so on the website and the Instagram post has an asterisk to denote that. I show him the Instagram post which doesn’t say it and he tells me that I’m being rude and that I should have gone to the website. False advertisement, & horrible customer service! Slutty Vegan would never! Will never come back here again, trying to support our black owned vegan spots in the area but this one is a complete bust!

RUDE & NASTY! I wanted to like this place but unfortunately a very large disgruntled guy who seemed unable to handle the orders coming in was extremely rude & dismissive when I asked about menu items! He referred to the previous customer and ppl in McDonough/Stockbridge as “too ghetto” His finger nails were dirty, he was dripping in sweat and there were gnats flying everywhere around the uncovered cupcakes on the counter. Horrible customer service & unsanitary. This place will be shut down VERY SOON!! The food looked very sloppy and unappetizing so we gave it to the homeless ppl on our way to the Slutty Vegan! Pass on this place and go to The Slutty Vegan which has a more positive atmosphere, clean, friendly staff and DELICIOUS food.

This company is disgustingly rude. After some criticism about a recent post they made on their Instagram, they responded by called me a bxtch and harrassing me by leaving several comments on my IG pictures, including one of me at my grandmother's funeral responding with: She raised bxtch.

How do you find comfort in bullying your customers? You decided to open up shop in the area that supposedly you have an issue with. Do you hide behind your name and say that your responses is a part of the brand when in reality it’s pathetic and child like behavior. This review started off being about your food made me sick and I wound up in the hospital but really after the past few post in the correlation you guys are just pathetic and I wanted to let it be known. Regroup get yourself an order try this again later but now you guys don’t deserve any one support. The food is inconsistent the service is 200% all the time unprofessional and again it’s not even a part of the brand you’re just defensive because apparently no one‘s entitled to their opinion and you don’t want to hold yourself accountable for anything. Even this app feel sorry for you and automatically gives you a star just because you call yourself vegan. It’s all a shame really.
