We read so many great reviews for this restaurant and we couldn't wait to eat there. We did last night and were very disappointed. The Spicy Garlic Fish's texture was so soggy and mushy, I couldn't eat it. The sliced tomato that came with it was not ripe - it was hard with no flavor. The other items we ordered were okay, but not great. The service was the worst though. It wasn't very busy, but we could not get the waitress to return to our table, or even glance in our direction, after delivering the meal. We tried to get her attention, but she just wasn't interested. I had to walk up to the counter twice, once to get a sauce for the Tuna Rolls and once to get the check. We won't be back.

So I am going to lay it out like it happened and express my frustrations clearly. Let me say though, that I absolutely prefer to never write reviews at all. I think they're a silly way to get eateries to look bad for no reason, so I'm not one to go out of my way to do this. I am a waitress myself and have been for 5 years now. I've been vegan for a year and a half and still struggle to find places that cherish the concept. I live close to this place and decided to try it on my birthday. Our waitress "Nancy" was the most unenthusiastic, frumpy, rudest B I have ever been approached by. Had no care whatsoever about our table at all. Did not get water. Did not serve a single dish or turn an eye in our direction. The chefs brought us our food and drinks. Still I was nice. As I am. I decide to wash my hands before the food, and see the owner to say a friendly hello and how we've been wanting to try his place. He says in an annoyed voice "Why is that?!" I say because your vegan??? He goes "Oh"....... we stand awkwardly and then he proceeds to say to one of his chefs "NO that one is not vegan , THAT one is" literally was appalled to hear that lol. I notice more customers come in and he proceeds to be overly enthusiastic towards them. The difference in service was INCREDIBLE. Through everything I still decide to be nice and ask for my check . As I leave, I kindly thank the owner and say it was delicious , he stared down at the counter without eye contact and didnt say a word. Idk man. It seems this weirdo likes to pick and choose who he wants to give his precious good energy to with no consideration on how he makes people feel. His staff (besides the hardworking chefs that he yells at) shouldn't even have the privelage of being in the service industry, since they don't serve ya anything! Also the food was ok. Lol (decided to take the trolls recommendation after she tried forcing it on us) and eh eh eh she failed . Sorry!
