Good variety! - Edit
This place has great vegan menu! Had the number 91 and it was a lot of food so come hungry! They had a variety of faux meat so they definitely don’t skimp out on vegan ingredients! Would def come back for more!

Vietnamese place with dedicated vegan section on the menu - Edit
Got the combination noodle soup - huge portion, good variety of "meats" but not all were to my preference, the broth was pretty simple and could have been more flavorful, if going back would probably try another type of noodle soup instead of getting this one.
Read moreAlso got the BBQ pork egg roll with vermicelli - really tasty, the pork is good and even has a fatty layer, egg roll good, would order this again.
Fair amount of seating. Bathroom is fine. Can be tough parking at busy times.
Pros: Dedicated vegan section of the menu

Vegan menu - Delicious - Edit
Nice little place that can get busy during lunch and dinner rush. I had the imperial rolls and they were delicious. The veggie bbq pork with vermicelli was amazing and the veggie steak with tomato rice was great too. I recommend this place 100%.

Lovely spot! - Edit
SF is a wonderful place to eat, and I run out of time during every visit. I'm so glad that I walked by Viet Quan on Taraval and ordered dinner to go. Gracious staff, easy to read menu and delicious food. I loved that my meal was served with gac rice because this seems harder to come by in my current hometown. Even though my meal was packaged to-go, there was care in the presentation and garnish. Lovely, light-filled space. Next time I hope to dine in!

Dedicated vegan menu and delicious faux meats! - Edit
I got #94, the Veggie BBQ Pork and Egg Roll with Vermicelli, plus a mango drink. Everything was delicious!
Read moreI recommend dining in (vs. takeout) if you can - all the different textures and temperatures were just perfect, the egg roll hot and blistered and crispy, the lettuce cool, the vermicelli so perfectly tender. Plus they serve hot jasmine tea as soon as you sit down! Everyone working here was so friendly, even though the city is jackhammering up the sidewalk literally right outside their door right now.
The BBQ "pork" is pork belly style, with that stripe of jellylike "fat" on one side - sometimes this stuff freaks me out, so just a heads up. But I was in the mood for it today and it was all savory and delicious.
