Great food and ethos - Edit
Really impressive menu and all made with wholesome nutritious food. The staff are friendly and there's plenty of seating. I have a nut allergy and was relieved to find that this was taken very seriously and I was offered a slightly adapted dish. I had one of the breakfast meals and a green juice. It was delicious and good portion size.

We ate here last night and this morning. Had the Cobb salad last night-absolutely delish- and the chia seed spirulina pudding for breakfast. Both dishes SO good. I know people are disappointed because this place is no longer 100% vegan, and I get it, but I'm sure that was probably a business/economic decision. The vegan choices we love were all still there with the few new additions. If those additions help this place survive, ok. We also introduced my celiac cousin to this place and she loved it. We will definitely stop again when we are anywhere in the area.

Shame on Vibe - Edit
This place used to be an amazing vegan haven. Shockingly one day I arrive to find out they are serving animal meat and chicken eggs. WTF. I used to be a regular here and there was no indication this was coming. I won’t be back.
Read moreAlso be careful because lots of reports of “accidentally” serving meat or eggs when someone orders vegan which is insane because it was ALL VEGAN for so long.

I was shocked when I found out as well. I used to be a regular, going multiple times a week, but never going back.! So disgusted.

Boycott VIBE. No longer plant-based/vegan. - Edit
Venison? Eggs? WTF happened to VIBE? Brainwashed by MAHA? RFK JR wouldn’t know healthy food if it fell out of a tree and hit him on the head. I will no longer support this establishment in any capacity. I haven’t eaten at a restaurant that uses/serves animal products since 1989. Preparing plant/based foods alongside animal products is NOT VEGAN. You can’t guarantee no cross contamination. And even if it was prepared in separate areas I still wouldn’t eat there. Using or killing animals for food, even if it’s free-range or humane [oxymoron] is not natural, healthy, or compassionate (you’re not a carnivore). The owner has lost their mind. Must be one of those [vegan/plant-based] entrepreneurial exploiters. It’s all about $$$$.

Absolutely Incredible Vegan Food! - Edit
Read moreVibe Organic Kitchen in Dana Point is hands-down one of the cleanest, freshest, and most delicious vegan restaurants of all time. Their Mediterranean Bowl is my all-time favorite — loaded with chickpea fritters, shredded purple cabbage, chopped cucumbers and tomatoes, creamy hummus, a flavorful tahini-style dressing, and perfectly ripe avocado on top. It’s honestly the most delicious bowl I’ve ever had in my life.
They also have jicama tacos filled with jackfruit and mushrooms that burst with flavor, plus the most amazing superfood parfait made with cacao, coconut flakes, granola, cashew cream, chia seeds, blue spirulina, and fresh blueberries and strawberries. Every bite tastes vibrant and nourishing.
If you’re looking for food that makes you feel great — body, mind, and soul — this is the place. A true gem for anyone who loves clean, plant-based, organic cuisine
Pros: Mediterranean Bowl, Jicama Shell Tacos, Vegan parfait with Chia seeds

UPDATED REVIEW:
Read moreUnbelievably, this business (all three locations) have now chosen to harm animals in the name of "profits", when they have successfully been vegan for MANY years and so many of us loved it here.
This is such a massive disappointment to the whole community, but especially to the animals. SHAME on you Vibe.

FYI not entirely vegan - Edit
Only leaving this review as a heads up that this is marked vegan but it isn’t they do serve animal products like eggs and venison. They accidentally gave me the veggie burrito with eggs instead of the vegan one so they remade it.

5 stars for a very nice vibe and tasty food. The parking behind was all taken on a Saturday at noon, so you might want to park at the McDonald's and walk.
Read moreThe service was great (went out of their way) and we really enjoyed the food (burrito and ceviche).
It's a rich area, so not surprising how expensive it is, I guess, but I was pretty disappointed by the portion sizes.

I’ve been here 5x now.
Read moreThe first time was a pit stop between lunch and dinner. My sister and I shared the macro bowl and the immunity juice. Their bowls are so filling! I’m glad we shared. The macro bowl was perfect: delicious turmeric sauerkraut, decadent roasted butternut squash, sautéed kale, and tahini dressing. I got their bowl on a bed of half greens half quinoa. Really appreciate they allow that as an option. The immunity juice was mostly carrot and orange with an interesting note from the oil of oregano. Very interesting and slightly savory.
The second time I went was also for lunch. Got the mushroom walnut tacos on jicama and the fiesta bowl. The tacos were a very refreshing lighter take on tacos. Definitely want to try their butternut squash tacos next time. Also you get 4 tacos! The fiesta bowl was very comforting with the juicy jackfruit carnitas, pickled onions and black beans. Also got a turmeric shot from checking in (square space? Not sure). Also tried a matcha rose donut. I think they’re baked but they tasted more like banana than anything else so I think I’ll skip dessert next time.
Third time, came back again with a parent to see how the food works on them. Got their butternut squash tacos on the homemade tortillas, majikal chia pudding, chicken n waffles (weekends only), daily green juice, and the beet hummus on sweet potato toast. Someone decided to order a chocolate chocolate cookie at the last second (quite good!) Everyone unanimously liked the tacos best. The green juice was alright, I think I still like the Immunity juice the best. Sadly the chicken n waffles was a bit disappointing. I think there was a bit too much of the roasted veg cashew gravy and the overall texture was a bit soft. It didn’t really evoke chicken n waffle vibes for me. The beet hummus toast was amusing, light, but not memorable. I actually quite liked the chia pudding. Light but flavorful and not too sweet. I’m still having a hard time deciding between the jicama tacos vs the tortillas. I may give the sweet potato roasts another try as well.
We tried the Costa Mesa location but prefer the Dana Point one. We tried the breakfast bowl and taco toasts on their gluten free bread but unfortunately they both fell a little flat. Fireball shot is hot!
Breakfast burrito was great! The Bombay bowl wasn’t as spicy as another reviewer said.
Parking is easy curbside. Lovely chill and large patio.

About the breakfast burrito - you have the spice and the texture from the walnut chorizo, the avocado chills it out. The the pickled onions rounds it out the check pea firttata that closes the show!
Go with the spicy orange sauce and you can thank me later!
