Friendly Focaccia - Edit
So - worth the 5 minute walk north of the Lucca walls (from Santa Maria gate). Small cafe - 3 tables inside, another 3 outside. We caught them at 2.10pm before they closed to lunch - they were delighted to serve us, talked through the English menu, happy to recommend Focaccia choices to us - we went Montagne - vegan mozzarella, Ham, mushrooms - definitely our favourite - and the rocket, pepperoni and Parmesan one. Both were substantial sandwiches, very tasty. I wasn’t expecting the thin, crispiness - but that’s what you get from toasting their own bread. So friendly, helpful, attentive, relaxed service with good food. Worth the trip for lunch. Make sure you check opening hours as they don’t open for lunch most days (they did on weekends when we went).

Tantissime opzioni, tutte vegane. Se si va con o senza fame è uguale, si potrebbero mangiare da due a tre pizze a testa, tanto sono gustose. Ambiente carinissimo e personale disponibile. Da tornarci tutte le volte che sarò di passaggio a Lucca.

We stopped there on our way back from Pisa. The staff was very friendly and explained the menu. We were recommended to try the focaccia and that’s what we did. I took the to-nó which was very good. I loved the freshness of the bread and I’m still wondering if and how they do the “tuna” themselves.

We got there when they opened at 6:30 and were told they didn’t have any salad so we couldn’t get what we wanted (Greek focaccia). So we opted for the veggie pizza which was not good, not bad just meh, crust didn’t have much flavor and overall didn’t seem balanced flavor wise wish there had been more sauce or some herbs or olive oil. And then the vegan focaccia with bell pepper, cheese, olives and herbs on top really helped it.

Staff was super helpful and they do look like they have some other vegan alternatives you probably can’t get elsewhere. But I honestly had a better pizza with no cheese somewhere else where everything just tasted better.

All the dish are Vegan. This place is small located outside the wall but not far. I take a pizza with onions, vegan Tuna and cheese. It was amazing. I had also a cheesecake that was nice too.

Sehr große Auswahl an Pizzen und Foccacia. Das Foccacia Creamy ist sehr zu empfehlen. Es wird alles direkt frisch zubereitet. Nur wenige Sitzplätze vorhanden, also vielleicht besser zum Mitnehmen geeignet. Nachspeisen gibt's auch (Cheesecake, Mousse au Chocolate).

Read moreThey have loads of different pizzas to choose from and they have no problem with customizing your pizza, although it's worth mentioning that they charge 1€ extra for add-ons, even things like garlic. Otherwise fair prices, the pizzas are quite big and filling.
The service was great and they spoke english quite well! I ordered as take away, be aware that they don't slice them unless you specifically ask them to!
