Good homemade food, nice place - Edit
This tiny restaurant is tucked away in a small town above Lake Caldonazzo. We went there on a Winter Saturday night and the place was packed with guests (reservation is thus recommended). The menu offers ethno-fusion dishes, mostly vegetarian (with eggs/dairy) and a few vegan options. I had sautéed Oriental vegetables as entree, followed by delicious big rye ravioli filled with potatoes and cabbage and served with an oil-sage sauce. As main dish, falafel with chickpea cream, served on a lettuce bed. As a dessert, vegan dark chocolate salami (a typical North Italian dessert made with chocolate, butter and cookie bits and shaped as a salami) served with a pomegranate sauce, which was good but not exceptional. Service is very quick and the waitress was kind. The chef (and owner) was also very nice, and came to greet everybody at their tables. We spent 40 euros per person for a four-dish menu, including also water, wine, bread and espresso.

Per me era tutto molto buono e saporito, abbiamo ordinato un piatto misto e un piatto unico. Il proprietario ci ha consigliato l'antipasto misto, che abbiamo molto apprezzato. Il locale è particolare, molto colorato, mostra foto di viaggi alle pareti, il tutto in linea con il menù etnico e molto vario (è quasi difficile scegliere).

mostly because of the strange situation with the Chef? We had a nice waitress and suddenly he showed up, asked us to try the dips for 12€, we rather wanted some Dessert instead of an appetizer, so we declined and wanted to make our order, as he was asking us. But instead he just left without a word. So we waited again for a different waitress.

Sadly the meals are not very flavourful. As the menu is very international you expect a lot of flavours and spices.
16€ for 5 small pieces of seitan (which had a nice texture btw) and a little portion of potatoes is not a good value since Im still hungry afterwards.
Also the presentation is very poor. It would be easy to make it a little more good looking.
The cake was nice. Everything seemed fresh.
All in all sadly a little disappointing.

Das Essen war sehr kreativ und liebevoll zubereitet. Es war allerdings sehr viel los und man musste recht lange warten. Die Auswahl für veganer war nicht so gross. Alles in allem gut, hat uns aber nicht umgehauen.

A wonderful discovery - Edit
I found Veg Point browsing on Happy Cow, and decided to have dinner there. It was a great experience! The staff is kind and the kitchen is quick in service; moreover, I finally ate a vegan sacher and it was one of the best I ever had! Franco ti racconta, con le foto appese alle pareti, ma soprattutto con i suoi piatti, i suoi viaggi in giro per il mondo. La qualità dei piatti è molto alta.
I falafel sono qualcosa di eccezionale. Anche il farro al pesto è stato apprezzato moltissimo!
