Exceptional service, they really went above and beyond - Edit
My first meal here was so good that I decided to come back the following night. I arrived a bit later on the second night, and unfortunately they had closed already (around 18:40). I texted the owner if she had any recommendations in the area, and knowing I would struggle she came back to serve me! It was a very special meal.

Such a cute little restaurant. The women is super friendly who owns and runs the restaurant. She speaks some English 😊 The grilled rice is reallyyyy good but everything is super fresh and delicious! It can be difficult to find but the address does take you to the right place, sometimes it can just look closed but she will always serve you in the opening times (closes at 7pm) she can also do delivery if you WhatsApp her. Really brilliant and fully vegan. Soooo cheap too!

The owner is a sweet old lady that makes adorable photo collages of people from different countries that come to her restaurant. Also the food is very good, the seitan saté sticks were especially amazing.

100% Vegan Freshly Made - Edit
100% vegan and so tasty! The owner is very sweet and worked hard to communicate with us. She can speak some English and Mandarin Chinese but best to use apps to translate to Indonesian for certain requests. Everything we ordered was good, we had the ayam bakar (grilled chkn), black pepper tofu, an eggplant dish, and a bunch of other stuff I forgot. Only the dumplings we got were a bit heavy for our taste, but everything was delicious nonetheless. It will take a bit of time for the food, but it’s worth it. Oh yea, one more thing—when you first to the restaurant it might look closed so just ring the bell so they come move the counter thing for you to go inside. Also no AC, but has a fan. If she opens the door to the balcony it will be a bit loud.

We went here twice during our stay in Malang for really tasty, home cooked vegan food. The tausi (black bean) tofu was delicious, as was the black pepper tofu and the fried bokchoy, but the absolute king was the lemongrass mushrooms, so yum!

Probably the best place to get 100% vegan food in Malang! The owners are very kind and provide great service. They even gave me some free samples with my food to try. The menu is pretty large and the food tastes amazing. And all that for a very fair price! They are even willing to deliver food themselves and you can order through WhatsApp. The only downside I can think of is that they close at 19:00. So going for dinner is a little tough. But after an amazing lunch and wanting to get dinner there as well, that 'problem' was solved by them being able to do delivery 😁👌.

I can totally recommend this restaurant if you‘re looking for traditional, cheap indonesian food!! The owners are so cute and prepare the food with a lot of love ☺️😍. Go there and support them, you won‘t regret it. The language barrier is a bit hard because they spreak little to no english, but with google translator is everything possible. They show you pictures and tell you what it‘s made from. Nice experience we went there twice!!
