Food is ok, but service is bad

When the client requested just for one piece of tissue, instead of saying no, with a rude tone, you can just pass it while you actually have that on the top of counter.

Pros: It is a vegetarian restaurant

Cons: Very stingy in tissue., Attitude is bad, The counter was chatting ignore clients

Near Simei MRT

Allium-free vegetarian eastery; there are attempts to label the menu but not always accurately or consistently, so it's best to check with the staff about egg and dairy when ordering. Not quite my preference taste-wise across multiple visits (mostly didn't take photos), but would recommend the vegan otah! Located within Eastpoint Mall at Simei MRT, near Changi General Hospital.

Small cafe style , enough to hold 8 tables

In the shopping mall 2nd floor not hard to find. Price is ok to ex level. Service can be improved . No smile, . Employee seem like not welcoming guests and reply impatiently as if we need to serve them instead.

Pros: Decent food size, Varieties of food to choose from

Cons: Service can be improved

Poor Service

Malaysian cook was rude to my father and I. On top of that, the yong tau foo tasted bland. Had to self service to add the sauce.

It appears Happycow has a policy of not allowing lower than 2 star ratings. If I had the option, I would definitely give it a lower than 2 star rating.

Laksa is a must-try!

I will definitely order laksa and Vietnamese spring roll on each visit.

Giving it a 4 stars!
The remaining 1 star - there is always room for improvement!

Good food, tasty.

I love the yong taufoo here! Finally found a place selling affordable vegetarian ytf! Love it! My mother ordered laksa and she says that it tastes better than green dot.

Lunch at Veggie House

Ate the Penang dry noodle, laksa and dumpling noodle. Tasted good and generous portion size. Not the cheapest but value for money.

Pros: Lots of choices on the menu, Tasty local hawker fare vegan-style, Helpful and friendly staff

Cons: Salty, heavy on sauce at times (e.g.dry meepok), A bit pricey ($6 on average for each item)

Guess im not the only one who thinks their ytf tastes sour

Had this ytf takeaway plenty of times, told my parents it was bad but they still dabao it anyways since its nearby. Why did they decide to stuff mashed tofu?? Dont they know it spoils easily and turns sour fast? Their noodles are normal, pricey and quite soggy, kolo mee was disappointing, had cheaper ones that are springy probably because theirs are not alkaline noodles. If you are the owner, please use seitan or something else instead of mashed tofu...
Briyani rice: rice is dry, lack of ingredients, salty curry
Penang dry noodle: expected to taste unique, cant even taste the curry, just loads of kecap manis sweetness, 3 pieces of mock meat and a few veg for $6.80 is a joke

Bland tasting yong tau foo soup

The soup was tasteless, as compared to Hougang outlet. Fried beancurd is hard. Lotus root is sourish too.

Take note that the laksa broth is not suitable for vegans.

Will be good if the dishes are labelled with vegan symbol.

Pros: Economical homemade yong tau foo, Spacious dining area, Good service

Cons: Sourish ingredients, Tasteless soup
