Huge portions!! - Edit
Honestly the bang you get for your buck alone is incredible, but the taste is just amazing! I love their orange chicken with broccoli, and I can’t wait to try the rest of their menu!

amazing vegan chinese food - Edit
i'm glad we stopped here while in texas. we got the gyoza, vegetable lo mein, kung pao beef & orange chicken. orange chicken was my fave and the veggie lo mein was flavorful and not overly oily like some. kung pao beef had a wonderful sauce & lots of veggies in it. the service was wonderful and quick and we only spent $40 total.

My favorite restaurant! - Edit
I love this place! I thought I would never get to have sesame chicken again until I found Veggie Express! The owners are the sweetest people ever and my orders are always fresh and perfect. I highly recommend the spring rolls, sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, orange chicken, and the lo Mein! Menu is on FB page, check hours before you call to place order. Is also on grub hub.

Best Vegan Chinese! - Edit
I've tried many vegan Chinese restaurants over the years and Veggie Express is one of my top three favorites. The portions are plentiful, food is fresh, and service always friendly, and for a very reasonable price. The buffet has understandably not made a comeback since the beginning of the pandemic, but we simply order several dishes and make our own buffet at home, with plenty of leftovers to enjoy later!

Great family-owned vegan restaurant - Edit
Over the past two years since I’ve been vegan, Veggie Express has been reliably delicious. They have tons of options, and I haven’t tried anything that wasn’t tasty. We love the sesame chicken, beef and broccoli, and ham fried rice.

Happiness is edible - Edit
We were bummed to find out the buffet closes later during the day but we still enjoyed everything we ordered from the menu: a cup of the hot and sour soup (great size), spring rolls, then noodles with shrimp and the orange glaze chicken. The portions were great, the prices were fair, the dining area is simple and clean and the food was EXCELLENT. We would definitely come back!

The best buffet - Edit
Regularly drove over an hour to eat at this buffet from the other side of town. Small, no frills interior with big Chinese buffet selection and great service. Easy in and out and parking nearby.

Veggie Express is a staple in my life. I come here nearly every week for the buffet. My mother and sister (non-vegans) love coming here as well. If you are in Frisco, I definitely recommend stopping by!

Service was great! Food was awesome! Only a few Asian dining places have ever “hit the spot.” This was one. The fried rice was plain but I could taste the authentic flavor in it. The sesame and orange chicken were naughtingly delicious.

Veggie Express - Frisco, TX
Read moreChecked out this Vegan Restaurant for the first time on Sep 28, 2017 while passing through Dallas Area. This was one of the few Vegan options open at 7pm in east Dallas. Most of their menu is meat substitute, which I am NO fan of.
I tried a Broccoli dish, and it was VERY good, filling and flavorful
I'd like some to-go sauce options !!
I would go back even though most of the menu is fake meat and doesn't appeal to me, the stuff I would try will be good I bet
100% Vegan !!! Super cool

Another #TexasVegetarianRestaurant this one in Frisco, TX
Their specialty is faux-meat and classic chinese restaurant menu items
I dont like textured protein in the place of meat in dishes, so i. Just had a traditionally meat-free broccoli dish
Big portion, pretty good, id go back, but id order something else, this was more sweet than i prefer

Pros: 100% Vegan, Big portion, Texas Vegan Restaurant !!

Good, straight forward buffet! - Edit
Came on a Sunday for the buffet, and it’s pretty straightforward! Has everything you’d think of at an Asian buffet. The sesame chicken was the best (they didn’t have orange chicken out), though there wasn’t anything that was bad. Also very well priced - for my boyfriend and I, it was only $18! Usually you pay that for one person at a buffet.
