awesome (mainly) burger stall - Edit
Super friendly cute stall with fun logo, serving many different vegan burgers, and a few pasta and salad dishes.
Read moreI tried the burger in black and wasn't disappointed - it's intense; full of flavour from the truffle, mushroom and black beans; and filling. Next time will try the spicy tofu and beetroot one.
Burger in black is priced at a reasonable HKD 68, some of the others are HKD 58, and others are even cheaper.
There is one small table at the front with two stools but it is predominantly a take away.
As the blurb says, entrance is actually on Wing Wo street, a small side road off Des Voeux Road, although official address is on Wing Lok, which begins just around the corner.
Pros: delicious , reasonable, friendly

What a fantastic idea, serving take away burgers, salads and pastas that are all vegan and reasonably priced! Like most people I went for the Dark Giant, which was full of truffle goodness. I wasn't a fan of all the kale though, as it seemed to overpower the rest of the burger (maybe wilted would be better?) and would prefer my cheese melted. I will add that it looked nothing like the official picture, but taste is more important than looks I guess. Can't wait to go back to try more!

Such a great place to go. Their combo is amazing value for money and the food is SO good!! The worst part is choosing from their menu, as it all seems so good!! Will definitely go back again.

Most affordable Western food place I've been to in the region. Good service and quality. Tried the Forest Guardian burger which was tasty with decent chips and an average penne pasta. I'd definitely go back for a burger fix. Take away stall with one small table and two stools outside in a laneway just off a main road. Great logo, and fairly eco-friendly.

We found this place on Happy Cow and went out of our way to go there, and we were not disappointed. The Burger in Black was the best vegan burger I've ever had! Good prices too and lovely staff. This place is a takeaway but there was one table you could stand and eat at.

I had trouble finding Veggi Monster, which according to the street sign is on Wing Wo Street, but Apple Maps has it on Wing Lok Street. It wouldn’t have mattered as opens at 11.30 and I would’ve been too early! The staff are really friendly and helped me with my Chinese whilst I was waiting for my freshly prepared Burger in Black. As previously described, it was well worth the wait. It was delicious. Reasonably priced street food, they have a standing table by the kiosk, with a discount off drinks if purchased with food. Well worth the effort. I’ll be back before I head off for Australia in a few days.
