Fully vegan cafe inside a temple. Vegan choices include noodles, assorted dim sum, and baozi (steamed buns). Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-7:00pm. These hours are approximate. Temple places tend to close very early.

Temple veggie hall

A temple by the northern lakes (see photo, it’s not where Happy Cow put the place marker). The temple is active, and the food hall caters for the residents. There are just a few options to choose from each day, much grown on site in the adjacent gardens. It’s a pleasant trip out of Suzhou to a massive (rebuilt to original form) temple and the adjacent parks and lakes. It’s the opposite of the typical tourist places in town.
