Truly delicious - Edit
Plenty of vegetarian menu choices with the ability make things vegan. The staff very carefully asked about what food choices you wanted and allergens. The recommended flower salad and olive crumble combination was so tasty we ordered more!
Read morePros: Staff made notes of what foods were okay, Beautifully presented meals, Every mouthful was full of flavour
Cons: Small and busy - get there early!, This was definitely slow food, but worth the wait!

Great experience - Edit
No menu in English but very helpful and friendly staff that asks about your allergies and preferences beforehand then explains every item on the menu that fits your need.
Read moreEvery guest must order a drink and has to pay 200 yen for the table which is totally fine for the service.

Everyone loved the vege combo - Edit
I (a vegan) took 10 non-vegetarians to this place. Everyone tried the 2 dishes that make up the vege combo (pictures attached) and loved them. I also had the pasta with vegetables (instead of shrimp) and garlic, which was good, but not extraordinary. My companions also had lamb, pork and fish, which they also loved.
Read moreRecommendation: order enough dishes and share. The vege combo is delicious, but a rather light meal, so it's best to order something extra.
The staff was extremely attentive, inquiring about everyone's dietary preferences and allergies, and using a translator app to translate between Japanese and French. The waitress spoke some English.
Pros: Beautiful & delicious dishes, Incredibly attentive staff
Cons: Rather small portions

Cons: Peu d'options veganes

A memorable vegan dinner - Edit
Lovely restaurant with some vegan options. Ask for details Was so nice to have vegan pasta after a long time without! Owners speak little English but are very eager to learn, are very open-minded, and are super friendly if you do get the chance to talk to them. It's a relatively popular restaurant though.
Read moreTo get there, it's one block and a bit south of Toyama castle grounds, in a high street with an entrance: "Sengoku mall". Check the website for opening times.
Pros: Locally sourced veg, Strawberry and lemon soda, Open sundays
Cons: Cover/seating charge (200¥)

Cute place - Edit
The place is tiny and cute, even if the restaurant is not vegetarian they use a lot of vegetables in the dishes.
Read moreThe waitress is adorable and try her best to talk in English. They know what "vegan" or "vegetarian" is, it's the first question they ask when you are seated so they can show you what is possible to arrange in the menu.
The "otoshi" was vegan.
It was a bit pricey for the quantity but nice to find a vegan option in Toyoma😄
