shockingly bad
The decor is nonexistent. It's crazy expensive and rly bland. It was recommended to me by a friend. I decided to go there with 2 omni friends and boy was I ever ashamed. This restaurant displays all of the classical prejudice people have against vegan food. I'm really disappointed. Do not go there.
Cons: service slowexpensivetries to stick with traditi, food blandnot very varied.

overpriced , bland food - Edit
I understand, as vegan, that we do pay more for our food ( although if it's not organic, raw or made with very rare ingredients, don't see why we should). I know that it's not a fast food joint and that the 'chef' should have given some thoughts to the menu...so many good reviews...my expectations were high ! Aanyway , Vegano is overpriced in all corners: decor, design and specially the FOOD!!! The place is outdated, with a hint of oldish Italian cheap pizzeria, the ceiling shows signs of water leaks in some places and being a small place , if you get a table next to the kitchen windows , you ( and your clothes) will end up smelling like grease for a while...( lack of good ventilation?) In the middle of ceiling there is a disco mirror ball... kind of threw me off...a memento from past glorious events taking place over there?? Even without the tables , the only dance you'll be able to perform is an intimate tango (with yourself!). Irony apart, I must confess....yes, I was very disappointed, but not for the decor, odours but, THE FOOD. I ordered a sausage, biscuits, green beens and gravy plate. (18.50$ +tax). After a 30' wait ( restaurant was 30-40% full) I was presented with a very sad dish, but again...we vegans endure almost anything to taste something extraordinary even if it doesn't look appealing...well it was definitely not the case. Three sausages ( I may wrongly assume they were not homemade, but decent), green beans were cook nicely but the biscuits (2) were dry and bland and the gravy (sadly covering everything ) extremely salty but bland without seasoning, soul, ....do the chef taste the food before it leaves the kitchen? Maybe it wasn't my lucky day....maybe the rest of the menu is unbelievable good ...but 21.00$ for that crappy dish is almost offensive. Huge portion?? not at all, even if the ingredients were fresh and good quality , the final flavour was far from professional. But again , maybe if I give Vegano another try....will see...let the time go by....I might forget this unfortunate experience. For those who know the area, my standard is Aux Vivres
