Read moreUpon arriving I was immediately excited about their menu and wanted to try everything so I was grateful my friend was down to split a couple sandwiches. The staff helped give recommendations and let us know what was popular, and they did not steer us wrong. The chkn buffalo was a great chkn sandwich and I really liked the coleslaw inside, added a nice texture variation and all of the flavors were on point. The teriyaki burg was really tasty, the pineapple slice complimented the teriyaki sauce flavor well and all of the textures have solid variety when eating it. The breading on the guilt-free bites was perfectly crisp and the mushrooms inside were tender and juicy, I liked both the ranch and the sriracha aioli and using the creamy garlic sauce with it was nice as well, but I feel there might be a better sauce option out there. Jalapeño aioli fries were an exciting burst of heat and the creamy garlic complimented the jalapeño aioli well. After speaking with the staff and asking about their desserts they gave us free samples of the coconut soft serve ice cream which I really enjoyed, it reminded me a little of cool whip, but was much much better. Non vegan friend with me loved everything too. Can’t wait to visit Hesperia again just so I can enjoy this restaurant again!

Found this place while visiting friends in the area. The food was so good. This will be a definite stop for me when in town. Couldn't decide so I got the Trio Sliders and the Tapas Platter. Worth trying.

Best Restaurant in the High Desert - Edit
I was thrilled when Veganburg opened because it is so close to where I live. The food has surpassed my expectations every single time I have eaten there. This is the only place I have ever eaten where my food is delivered looking better than the advertised picture. I have a really hard time deciding what to order. I love the shroom burger, the cracked mayo, the avobeet burger, and the fried mushrooms. I still haven't tried the bbq burger but that is going to change soon. The restaurant is always clean, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. My food has always come out quickly and has always been delicious. I wish I could afford to eat here every day.

Stop if you’re hungry! - Edit
In my travels I stopped in. The Pleasant host who worked the cash register was helpful. The cook cares… she brought out the fried mushrooms to my table and checked in on my thoughts. Food was comfort food at its best! Enjoy and don’t be reluctant because you have never been.

This place was surprisingly good. I tried the slider trio because I could not decide what I wanted. On a second trip my husband and I shared a tapas plate. We also had fresh lemonade. Everything was very tasty!

Crazy surprise finding this place in the high desert - Edit
Frequent commuter through the area and saw this pop up so gave it a try. Absolutely amazing. Healthy without sacrificing taste or substance. Avo beet burger was great. Vegan soft serve!! Can’t emphasize how excited we were to find this place and actually have a great food option for the area!

Get of the hwy and eat here!!An amazing variety of burger options. There is a gluten-free bun or lettuce wrap. Both of those are free options. There is a huge variety of appetizers/side dishes. They have a side dish tapas option so you can taste many of them. FYI the sausage is like a hot dog. They also offer for different dipping sauces. In addition to that they have vegan vanilla ice cream and package drink options. The owner is super nice and her staff is amazing.

Driving between Southern California and Utah, there’s not much vegan options on the road. Driving home today we saw a buildboard showing Veganburg. We got very excited and quickly looked at the menu and directions. It’s easy to get too, right off I-15 at Main St in Hesperia. The menu has all kinds of sandwiches from burgers to chicken. I had the Smokey BBQ. It was delicious!!!! All the toppings are fresh and tasty. I was full but probably could have eaten another one. That’s how good it was. The owner was there working and she is so nice and helpful. She wants to take care of everyone and make sure you enjoy the food. I’m looking forward to my next drive to California and try something different. If I could give a 10 star review, I would.

I was so excited that a fully vegan restaurant was coming to the area. I got a burger, chickn sandwich, and the garlic fries to try. They were all WONDERFUL, especially the garlic fries. I met the owner and she was literally a saint, she came and checked on us multiple times and was so friendly and helpful. Please support this business, so we can hopefully get more vegan restaurants in the High Desert!

Excellent shroom burger and more - Edit
Having dined at the primordial VeganBurg mothership in Singapore, we couldn’t resist making a road trip pit stop at this new location after seeing it here on HappyCow. Not disappointed! The shroom burger has great flavor and texture, and best of all it’s delightfully unprocessed (handmade). Do both your body and your taste buds a favor and get a side of broccoli, too, not just for healthy balance but also because it’s exceptionally tasty here.

I am eating here right now with my wife and two young kids. We ordered the trio sliders, tapas platter and seaweed fries. We love all of it. The kids are devouring the broccoli with the ranch sauce. I love the sriracha sauce. Service has been outstanding.

I live in the Bay Area where we have some pretty good vegan options, but from just the one burger I tried today for the first time (in Hesperia of all places!) called the Shroom Berg, I have to say nothing I’ve had up north beats it! It was perfect and fresh tasting! My son who is a hard core carnivore asked to try my burger because he said it looked good and he came back for two more bites afterwards. So, even non vegans will like it. I tried my son’s mango lemonade and it wasn’t overly sweet like most other places make it. If you’re vegan, plant based, or just want to mix it up, you need to try this place out.

Fries are a hit and miss for us. Any of the fries with a sauce on them have been cold every time. Pretty sure the sauce is cold when it goes on the hot fries but that can definitely improve with warming the sauce first IMO. Their regular fries are a hit.
The establishment is modern, clean, and inviting. The staff have been great and the owner understands the importance of customer service and retention!
I’m excited for them. It’s amazing to offer this vegan option to our growing community.
