Великолепное место - Edit

Love, love & love - Edit
The food, staff and the authenticity is beyond great. Went to this restaurant with my companion with just a little time because we needed to rush to bus to Riga. The waitress were kind enough to tell us what would be good choices for us so we can get to the bus. We both took the lasagne and it was a m a z i n g. My companion is a mix-eater and couldn’t say it is vegan. He is a picky eater. The dish were very moist and soft. We had no complains on this place. It was sad that we had so little time to eat because it would have been nice to try more from the menu. They have vegan salami and also (lunch time?) buffet which would have been something to try. I recommend this place to everyone and will definitely visit this place again when in Tallinn.

Best Italian with very wide menu! - Edit
I really can recommend it as Italian, as cook and as vegan!
Read morePlace is quite new but tastes coming from very old tradition. Ran by Italians, Russians and Estonians this is not only a "Trattoria" but also a small "vegan-meat" factory with salamis, burgers and more, Dont miss it. It is very easy to find on the main road from Airport to Old town, 1km from it. Trams 2 and 4 are just stopping 20mt from it. Also some free parking spots on site.
Pros: Tasty and traditional, Portions size and wide choice menu., Friendly, welcoming and casual

Wondeful Italian cuisine in a vegan manner! - Edit
I had the most delicious vegan version of Italian cuisine at Vegan Italy. Generally, I am not so keen on pasta etc. but at this restaurant, it was just amazing. They are also producing their own vegan salami, which can be bought at the restaurant together with further groceries used by the chefs. They offer an excellent Italian brunch during lunch time.

Amazing - Edit
We had hoped to get the buffet from Vegan Italy but didn't make it on time. However, we decided to get a table and give their full menu a look. We ordered a few things to share between the kids and us; everything was superb with particular highlights being the rice ball with their homemade vegan salami and the spaghetti carbonara. The staff were very present taking the time to explain any of the dishes on the menu and were great with the kids. Highly recommended.

Friendly, fun and fab - Edit
My friend and I have just come from the buffet lunch at Vegan Italy and were both really impressed with both freshness and flavour of the food, but also with how attentive and welcoming were both the chef from Sardinia and one of the Estonian co-founders. The menu choice of the buffet is excellent with soup, bruschetta and salad to start, followed by options including vegan lasagna, grilled courgettes and aubergines, rice balls, pasta made fresh to order ( also included), tempura battered vegetables. All wonderful! Dessert was also made fresh to order for us-apple slices in a light tempura style batter coated in sugar. Delicious. Fantastic value for money. Top marks all round and great to see how proud the chef was regarding his creations and how much we enjoyed them.

average buffet - Edit
I wanted to love this place, it’s quite unique to have a 100% vegan, all you can eat Italian buffet. The girl who served us was lovely and they seem to care a lot about their customers. Unfortunately we thought the buffet was pretty bland. The best dish was tempura vegetables with lemon, aside from that the dishes were all really basic. Eg. lasagna was just pasta sheets and white sauce, the “pasta of the day” was spirals with plain tomato sauce. Also all of the food was cold. The buffet doesn’t seem to heat very well so I guess you have to be lucky to come when they’ve just brought out dishes hot and freshly made. Price was good at least, €9 for the lunch buffet.

We took away paninis and arancinis.
Read moreI liked that you create your own version by choosing from different sauces/vegetables/toppings options.
The portions were generous and very filling; and everything was yummy!
As I contacted them beforehand, there were very nice to help me choose and prepare the food in advance so that the waiting time was shortened.
They also sell a small selection of vegan products like "sausages" and marmalades.
Although it's not centrally located, I think it's worth the small detour. Will certainly check it out again the next time I'm in Tallinn.

Huge respect for creating such tastes :-) - Edit
The number of vegan places in Tallinn has changed significantly in the past few years and VeganItaly is a great addition to these places. Actually, I seem to favor this place to others as I really love to eat a lot and this place guarantees a full stomach with its rich all-you-can-eat buffet. I have nothing but respect for the time and energy they put into creating delicious tasting food.
