Did you ever watch the Episode of SpongeBob where he makes pretty Patties? Yeah this felt the same but just for Gyoza.
Read moreThis cute little gyoza restaurant in Taito City only serves handmade Gyoza bursting with various flavors and colors, all crafted without artificial food coloring or flavors. Plus, they offer the option to have your Gyoza steamed, pan-fried, or even frozen to enjoy at home.
What I ate:
- A mixed plate of every flavor of gyoza pan-fried. Only the pickled cabbage, soy meat one was apparently not in season or sold out.
First and foremost, let me tell you, this was one of the most Instagram-worthy dinners I've ever had. The array of colorful Gyoza made for a visually stunning meal.
What set these Gyoza apart was that they were served without a dipping sauce. This allowed the distinct fillings and flavors to shine through, making the experience all the more delightful.
Each one was a delectable treat, but my top picks had to be the Black (with green onion, miso, and soy meat), Purple (featuring ginger, miso, and soy meat), Red (infused with kimchi and soy meat), and Orange (with a hint of coriander and soy meat).
Skip the last one if you don't like coriander.
If you love Gyoza this is a must visit

Yes, the food is very "instagram-able" (a little rainbow of gyoza is, afterall, pretty cute to look at), which made me worry about this being the reason this place got so popular, but the taste exceeded my expectations.
The service was prompt and friendly, despite the place being busy.

The presentation was so pretty and the flavours were even more amazing. We each had the set of 11 flavours and none of them disappointed. Absolutely a must try it’s for sure a 10/10 place! 🤩

I took the set of 11 pieces and it was amazing. Really interesting flavors and spicing, very unique. The waitress also spoke English very well and they offer coffee and Matcha.

We tried two full sets (11 gyoza at present as one flavour is sold out), with one steamed and one pan fried. I felt the pan fried was nicer, but honestly all gyoza from both sets were really varied and very tasty. Great service throughout - highly recommended!!!

My gosh, the best vegan gyoza… - Edit
I’m not being dramatic. The gyoza here are really good. I got the sampler option with one gyoza of each flavor. It comes with a “legend” to let you know what each colored gyoza is made of, but honestly it wasn’t needed because each of their respective flavors came through with each bite. In customary Japanese fashion, the staff was very polite, helpful and nice. This is a definite must try if you’re visiting Tokyo.

I was looking for a light late lunch and saw this place was nearby. You order gyoza as singles and they are beautifully color-coded, coming with a chart to remember what you’re eating with each bite. No sauce is server so you can taste all the flavors properly. Everything tasted incredible and I wish I ordered more! I’d like to go back and try one of everything.

We got the steamed share plate and then went back for seconds of our favourite ones! Each flavour was unique and truly delicious. We enjoyed a lovely fruity craft beer too. I would come back here again and again.

Every flavour was delicious and distinct. We shared the set of 11 but could have eaten a set each. Rushed here at 8.45pm on our last night in Tokyo! Thankfully it was fine to order before 9pm, as long as we left by 9.30pm. Really friendly staff member. Beautifully presented and so tasty!! 🌈🥟

We ordered two of each flavour and our favourites were definitely the garlic and shiitake ones.
Worth a trip if you're even remotely nearby, we got a bus here after visiting Sensō-ji temple.

Best gyoza I’ve ever had, ever - Edit
If you visit Tokyo and love gyoza, you have to visit! 11 different types (technically 12, but one was sold out), and every single one was delicious. I’m glad I went here last because I got an extra set for the morning (that I was flying out), and another extra set to eat during my layover! 🤣 I think this is definitely one of my favorites. I’ll for sure come back.
