Not a lot of selection - Edit
Vegan cave is good. Good and fresh tasting food, great service. I've eaten there, and at the Caveman cafe it originated from a dozen or so times. The one thing I've noticed though, no matter if you order a bowl, a wrap, or a pizza, and no matter what you put on it, it's the same thing. All their food, really, is one food.

Tucked away in Gastown, this restaurant is mostly geared for takeout as seating was very limited (esp with physical distancing in place). I regret that we didn’t try their pizza. Their latinga bowl and cave salad were serviceable and generously portioned but lacked a bit of the wow factor that I’m confident are in their pizzas. The cave salad had hot dog like strips - not sure if they were the ‘sausage’? Anyway it was slightly strange to experience hot dog flavour in a salad. Could use more drink options.

Yes, there is more then just pizza. (See menu: www.vegancavevancouver.com/menu) Many years ago, I loved pizza but that feeling past when of pizza houses seemed to aim for quantity over quality and taste. My enjoyment for pizza has been rekindled here... The Vegan Cave is just North of the International Village Cineplex Cinema on Abbott Street in ChinaTown. I go there for pizza which have all pleased me greatly. One of my favourites is the Freaky Greeky or the Bombay Bad Boy... They are all great. I choose my topping once there and how I feel in the moment. This place is a must.

3eme fois que que nous allons dans ce petit resto entièrement Vegan . Que dire... Les gars au comptoir sont vraiment sympas et prennent le temps de t'expliquer le menu. Les pizzas (la seul choses que nous ayons manger) sont super bonnes. On a le choix entre 3 différentes pates fines(pour les français qui connaissent Hank pizza ça n'a rien a voir) et plusieurs fromages. Les compositions sont originales ; en bref nous le recommandons les yeux fermés.😊

Stumbled on this place while visiting Vancouver. When I walked in I saw the massive menu and I was giddy!! I had a hard time choosing what I wanted so the guy at the register helped me out. I had the PestoPrano with the almond flour crust. It was amazing! Also it was surprisingly filling! Great deal.

I'm not the spicy type, so when I saw the menu I was a bit disappointed by the many spicy options. I ordered a pizza that didnt have jalapenos or anything, and it came with chili flakes on top... tasted good regardless, I just had to give most to my friend. Staff are friendly, restaurant is cosy.

As a vegan it‘s hard for me to find good Pizzas but the Pizzas here are amazing with a lot of delicious toping. In contrast to most other places the vegan cheese was really good here (my favourite one was the „No Mames“ Pizza). They also have different delicious Bowls, Wraps and Salads. For dessert they have different kinds of vegan cookies and vegan cakes. Sadly I couldn’t try all the cookies but the cookie I ordered was amazing! The stuff here is also very friendly.

Wow, such generous toppings, if you like/ love cheese, then the Espasito is the bomb - VERY cheesy and creamy.

Had both the Yam Cassava base and the original base, both of the edges were burnt and a bit too crunchy, but still tasty.
Will be back for more to try the wraps :)

First time visit on a busy Saturday evening. Ordered a half BBQ Beach and half Samsara Sausage pizza with a yam and cassava crust. Speedy preparation of the pizzas, piping hot from the oven. Both had an appealing appearance and nice amount of toppings- they weren't cheap here. Nice job!
Read moreBoth tasted terrific, spicy was spicy and the BBQ Beach had that sweet smoky combination that was delicious. Probably would order the regular wheat crust next time that my spouse had with his Freeky Greek as I found my yam crust a bit hard on the edges and too thin.

Ate here twice while visiting Vancouver. The pizza. And staff are absolutely amazing. If you love pizza this place is a must. However I could only eat there once, had to get takeout the second time. There is a safe injection site right across the street. So expect to see lots of sick people doing very strange things. I couldn't eat after a few minutes of people watching out the window. Had to get take out the second time because I couldn't handle the neighbourhood a second time.

Read moreI was in Vancouver for a weekend and I was craving pizza. I happened to walk past this place one afternoon and decided to try it. Best decision ever!
The pizza was so good and I had the choice of 2different gluten free crusts. This is a definite place to try if you want a delicious pizza that’s cheap, big portions, fully loaded and Vegan/gluten free !
They also have wraps, and salads that looked amazing too, but I’m in it for the pizza !
