Veel lekkere vegan opties - Edit
Fantastische plek met veel en lekkere vegan opties. Ik had de githeri, mbaazi en pineapple juice besteld en zou zeker terugkomen als ik meer tijd had. De eigenaar Gitaari is inspirerend en praat vol liefde over zijn restaurant en plannen. Dit is geen fastfood, het eten wordt vers voor je bereid. Het kan dus even duren voordat je je bestelling krijgt.

A little gem in Kilifi. - Edit
A simple little eatery in the centre of town that is a lifeline for vegans. Lovely vegan host cooks everything fresh. We had soy samosas, potato bhajias, burritos a delicious smoothie and greens and bea and corn stew. Worth the effort

Nice vegan place with amazing food - Edit
This little place (called Mizizi not vegan basket anymore) offers amazing vegan burritos and burgers. The food is definitely cooked with love butit can take a while. Do not go there expecting to eat instantly (45min-1.5h). We just started calling ahead :)

Hidden gem in Kilifi! Was really surprised by the coziness of this compact restaurant and warm welcome by staff and healthy food. Fresh coconut available also of course tamarind and mango juices without sugar.

How good to experience an all vegan food place in Kalifi without having to worry that something may have dairy in it. We loved it so much we went twice!

As of Sept 2021, they're not advertising they're doing burgers/chips etc on their menu but ask them and they will arrange for that to be made for you if you give them some notice!
We had a burrito, soy veggie Burger, chips, onion rings, soy samosa, veggie samosa, doughnuts and mandazi - all very tasty!
Pros: Great food, Great friendly service, Super low prices!

Delicious Veggie Burgers, Onion Rings, Burritos... and more, 100% vegan - Edit
This restaurant is incredible! Everything is fresh, my favorite is either the veggie burger (options for black bean or soy burgers) or the burrito! You can also get curries, vegetable rice, fresh salad, smoothies, juices... so much and it's so good! Reasonably priced (Ksh 400 for a very filling meal) with cheap quick snack options as well.

Amazing Food, Great People & Service - Edit
I had an amazing time there! Great food and a nice variety from their a la carte menu. The people are so kind and compassionate and the service was great! I especially loved their black bean burgers with guacamole and cashew cheeze sauce and their fresh juices and smoothies! I had a mango beetroot smoothie which was absolutely delicious!

Amazing 100% vegan spot by the beach! - Edit
What a cute and charming restaurant. A 2-minute walk from bofa beach, Kilifi's "My Vegan Basket" has friendly service, amazing fresh juice, coffee, tea, and lots of delicious options incl. samosas (soya and veg), burritos, arrowroot, potato bhajias, greens, beans, and more. Can't wait to go back.
