Pleasant restaurant of typical and good Indian food - Edit
Vedge is a pleasant Indian restaurant, very clean and large. The staff is knowledgeable of veganism and can help you choose on the menu. I took the samossas and a masala dosa that were exactly like the ones I ate in India. The food is very good, perfectly spicy and generous in size. You have to add 5% of tax and 10% of service on the prices of the menu, making the place a bit expensive. But it really worth the try!

Delicious Indian food with a bad service - Edit
Now called Edge. Not fully vegetarian anymore. The food was delicious but the service quite bad. We have waited for so long before getting our plates and then before getting the rice that they forgot.

I had the masala dosa (3.5k kyat) and the thali (7.5k kyat)—I think you have to request the thali because i didn’t see it on the menu. Both options came in large portions and were delicious (great flavors)!! Also clean. It’s more expensive than other places but very delicious. The prices I quoted included the added service and tax

Food is really nice and tasty. This is a vegetarian restaurant, but the staff was very supportive and helped me identify some vegan options.

Nice place close to Sule Pagoda serving delicious pure vegetarian Indian food -- north and south. Good service too -- and seemed like the cleanest place I'd eaten in Yangon. Recommended.

Nice atmosphere, especially in comparison to other restaurants in Yangon. It's a bit more expensive than some other places as well, but still cheap for western standards.
Read moreHowever, the food is superb! Very fine taste, a selection of some great Indian dishes (not a book like menu like in other indian restaurants), not to spicy/hot and the dish size is perfect to try out a few.
Definitely recommend it!

Food was good. They have a large pure veg menu with a lot of dishes to choose from. Mid price. Cold beer on tap and sheesha pipes with fruity smokes.
