Valerijonas is a well known place in Siauliai and always full at lunchtime, but since dishes are small, you probably won't have to wait long to get a seat or join someone else at their table.
Read moreIt is generally a vegetarian place, but sometimes serve fish, although I've never seed that myself. What I dislike about it is that sometimes they overuse eggs in their recipes, which all in all are simple grandma-style dishes. Their cheap soup is usually vegan and might have vegan stews too, but don't expect much.
I appreciate just the fact that such a place has existed for so long and when you're really hungry and can only find lettuce-salad in Siauliai, this is the place that might offer you something more than that!
When it comes to tea, especially herbal tea, this is the best place with variety of Lithuanian and international organic farmers' herbs.
