Time travelling experience: nobody knows what the word "vegan" means 🙀 - Edit
Little Mexican style restaurant, has vegan taquitos on the menu and a veggie burrito. We ordered both, explaining that we need the burrito to be vegan. Waiter says, "no cheese, right"? I said no, not only no cheese, please make sure that the burrito is fully vegan. Waiter walks away, has little discussions with other members of staff.. we are starting to get worried. Then I see the chef drizzling something white on the sizeable salad that goes with the burrito. I asked the waiter, is that dressing vegan? He said, "no cheese". Ok, but is the dressing vegan? Don't know. Please ask the chef. He asks, chef doesn't know either. Ok what's in it? Yogurt, etc. .. It turns out that nobody knows what the word "vegan" means, even though it's on the menu. And also, if you're vegan be aware that there's one plancha and one oil frier, so vegan and meat are prepared on the same surfaces and fried in the same oil.

The staff were more than willing to make the meals vegan and had a vegan starter. Staff very friendly and food was incredibly tasty
