Hidden fish sauce in their vegetarian/vegan food. - Edit
NOT VEGAN/VEGETARIAN - hidden fish sauce
BE CAREFUL with this restaurant If you go there, because after much investigation this restaurant finally admitted they do put FISH sauce in many of their items, including the vegetarian curries. They justified it that "all Asian restaurants do it."
They didn't seem to take me seriously when I asked them to put that disclosure in writing in their menu, because I have lots of vegetarian and vegan friends that have been eating there.
If you go there, please insist that they disclose this in their menu in writing.
Wish I could rate 5 stars! I got the Pad See Ew, I asked about the Pad Thai and it couldn’t be made without oyster/fish sauce. I appreciate the honesty! She knew about the egg and said no egg right? which is super helpful because I always forget LOL. Also got a yummy ginger salad😄
Great food with lots of vegan customizations. - Edit
Tup Tim has a great ambiance and most dishes can be prepared vegan. Their curry was delicious and pad Thai was delightful. Make sure to hold the fish sauce! Definitely recommend.
This has been one of my favorite restaurants since moving to the area recently. Always have a great experience and food is always delicious.
Most dishes are customizable, I’ve never had a problem adding, subtracting, or even trading out an ingredient. Entrees can be made with tofu, or we’ve even gotten no tofu extra veggies instead. Staff is always friendly.
