The Tranquilo complex consists of beach, restaurant, bar, organic farm, guesthouse, yoga space, sunbeds and hammock areas. Menu features a variety of dishes, most of which are vegetarian and including vegan: veggie stacks, veggie wraps, vegan burger, pasta dishes, and big salads. Hosts morning yoga classes, live music, and art exhibitions. Fully vegetarian June 2023. Open Mon 9:00am-10:30pm, Wed 9:00am-9:00pm, Thu-Sun 9:00am-10:30pm. Lunch from 2pm. Closed Tue.

Perfect vibes - Edit
Absolutely loved this place on Perissa beach and ate here multiple times. Huge portions, friendly staff and good music. You can order beers on the beach too for a chilled sunset. It does get busy!

Read moreWe ordered the classic Greek platter and two matcha lattes with almond milk. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. The food was great and the seats overlooking the ocean made it truly spectacular.
Highly recommend ditching the busy streets of Fira and Oia to try out this gem!

A hippy-ish café style sprawling beach side oasis of happiness. Good music, usually relaxed reggae, a fully stocked bar and a bulging menu announcing many things vegan or at least with the option of turning plates from vegetarian to vegan. Cool waiting staff, really good and overly generous plates of food - consider sharing even if you don’t do sharing - accompanied by a chilled, glistening carafe of Santorini wine. Good loos situate in building behind the bar (always good to know) but Tranquilo also has a great choice of handmade chairs, seats, swings etc on the beach in front of their café. They do not serve to the beach but you can order and then wander over. A really good find and an experience we have repeated a few times. (Just €2.50 on bus to/from Fira).

Yummy food with relaxed vibe - Edit
Loved the food here, so many options. We stayed here all day, taking advantage of the free sunbeds. We had lunch and dinner here - the vegan thali and a Caesar salad. Both were delicious. Great location, too, right on the beach front. Music was prefect for the setting, and the atmosphere was relaxed.

This was a real highlight of our trip - such a fun and upbeat vibe, including loungers on the beach, hammocks and lots of cool seating, with absolutely delicious food! All vegetarian with most either vegan or vegan option and all really clearly labelled. Super super tasty and really helpful staff - highly recommend!

This resturant is incredible. All locally sourced ingredients (even tells you on the menu where from). On the first page of the menu it reads "Think Globally... Act Locally" I love this place. The food is incredible, and so affordable! They've made classic Greek dishes vegan and affordable without any compromise! The seating arrangements are so relaxed, and after you can take your cocktails to the beach where you can lay in a hammock, or curl up on one of the beds and look at the moon. Just beautiful.

tranquilo has been the most amazing vegan restaurant that i have visited!!!! along with the incredible food, the ambience is extremely relaxing, hence tranquilo, as well as lovely welcoming staff. the vegan food never failed to impress and i have visited multiple times throughout my trip!!

Read moreAll food is vegetarian or vegan and both are clearly marked on the menu. The portions are HUGE, my partner and I ordered an appetizer to share and a main each and we couldn't finish everything. Definitely look into sharing a couple things.
They also have the beach lounge area with some hammocks, sun umbrellas and some chairs to order some drinks there as well if you wish to spend some time there as well.

We both got smoothies which had the expected bump in price from being beach front at 8€ each. My mango/pineapple/berries one was very good although heavy on the berries. My partner got a chocolate and strawberry one, which was listed as with chocolate ice cream and we asked if this was vegan or if they had a vegan alternative - the initial answer was no but then corrected to yes a few minutes later which made me nervous and unsure if i could trust it. Hopefully it was vegan (she didnt seem to get a tummy ache). There were seemingly pet cat and dog which were soooo cute. We sat on the beach which didnt have service so we had to wait by the bar for our drinks to be made which took a very long time. It is very cute though so still liked it!

Went here twice as the food was so good…the salads are amazing, the portions are big, both times we had 4 or 5 of dishes to share as we couldn’t choose…cocktails are nice and you can get vegan milkshakes!!
