Take-out containers are made of recycled paper and corn starch.

Best Meal - Edit
I’m vegan and have been traveling all through Costa Rica for the past 10 days, and though I can be happy eating beans, rice, and plantains every day, I must say the meal I had at Toucanoos was the best food I ate my whole time in Costa Rica!! The owner recommended the Thai peanut noodle salad, vegan sweet potato burger, and jungle slushee (spiked!), and it was all just incredible. And beautiful presentation too! I wish this wasn’t my last day so I could come eat here again. A must visit for vegans in the area!

Vegan options... - Edit
Unfortunately Happy Cow won't let me give a 5 star review because Toucanoos isn't 100% vegan. The vegan options by far surpass my favorite vegan restaurant in the Minneapolis area. Amazing place, amazing food and owners that I would love to have for friends! Wish I could kidnap them and move them to Minnesota!

My partner and I come here at least once a week! I always have the Thai peanut salad as it’s really special - so yummy. The guys who run it are wonderful and so passionate about creating the best culinary and overall experience for their customers. Cauliflower tacos and beans also amazing, but my heart belongs to the Thai noodle salad😄

The cauliflower tacos are out of this world. If you are there on the weekend, stop by for free coffee tasting in the morning and get the Thai noodle salad - soooo good! French fries are the best I've ever had. The food is very fresh!
