This place should be a 5* !! The best curry I’ve ever had !! - Edit
I’m from Birmingham UK so I know my fair share about what a good curry should entail - I’ve not had a sweet curry in years and they made me a mock meat chicken tikka masala ! I will be coming back at the end of the holiday as my last meal! It’s phenomenal

Good curry, poor service - Edit
The food here was very delicious…when we eventually got it. To be fair to them I think they were quite understaffed and the waiter (who I think was the manager) told us his staff had let him down. But he also said he didn’t realise we were waiting at one point. We were there a long time, much longer than a meal should take. The place was busy and they had to turn people away at one point so it’s clearly popular.
Read moreOverall the food was very good. They offer a full 2 page vegan menu on top of the standard menu. They got one part of our order wrong providing us with soya meat curry instead of a vegetable curry but it was represented in the bill thankfully.
Overall we would go back, but probably for a take away this time. Maybe we were just unlucky going on an understaffed evening.
EDIT: we decided to try a second time as a takeaway and the food was even better. Incredible taste and thankfully this time there was no delay as we just collected at the agreed time.

Would be 5* if I could! - Edit
A 'last ditch hope' for dinner one night turned into one of the best meals of the holiday!
Read moreThe absolutely delicious, and clearly freshly made food is just the start of how great this place is!
Instantly was welcomed in and as I asked if vegan options were available, the waiter was extremely accomodating and reassuring. It's IMMACULATE, especially in comparison to the majority of businesses near by.
Vegan options are so great, there's plenty to choose from.
The staff were just fantastic, clearly very passionate about their food and you could tell they wanted us to enjoy our meal when we were choosing our food and making recommendations etc. Such a great experience, 5* for me ⭐
Pros: Lots of vegan options , Immaculately clean, Staff were phenomenal

Amazing vegan options! - Edit
Would give a 5 if I could! Separate vegan menu with lots of options including various curry options (tikka , korma , dhansak , bhuna, maybe more but I can’t remember!) you can choose from a selection of mock meats to have in your curry as well as vegetables. This is the 2nd time I have been here and the menu has increased from my last visit 3 years ago. I opted for the korma with veggies. My 1st korma since being vegan and I think it is one of the best curries I have ever eaten! The owner was really friendly and we had a chat about the curries as I was curious how it was made to be creamy. The food was all extremely delicious , hot , served quickly with a friendly face. Highly highly recommend if you are in costa adeje!

Myself and my partner went here yesterday and we absolutely loved it. Entire vegan menu with plenty of choice. My partner had the fake prawn saag with vindaloo spice, and I had the the fake meat Rogan Josh at Madras spice. Absolutely stunning.

Need a curry place like this in UK - Edit
Bit of trouble finding the restaurant but once we did my eyes lit up with the two page vegan menu ❤️
Read moreI struggle in the UK to get a curry that is mild enough, they always say korma is what I need but I have to emphasise vegan and no diary so imagine my delight when that's not the case here.
I opted for vegan pickle tray and poppadoms which had a nice selection and i was warned on the green chilli one. My bf enjoyed the kick in that one. I sampled a dip of it and it was way too spicy 🔥
Had a mild saag curry with coco rice. Admittedly the colour of coco rice surprised me. You need to flip through the menu to understand how the sauces are flavoured. Was a fab meal and wished we had places with this variety in my part of UK.
The staff were really friendly and helpful too.
Pros: Vegan menu, Can easily choose your spice level
Cons: Little difficult to find

We have been twice. Once in 2019 and once in 2022. The best vegan Indian food we have ever tasted. The staff are lovely and they have a full vegan menu. The food is amazing! Try the peppered soya starter! We ate there twice and massively over ordered and ate it the next day from the hotel. Seriously thinking of coming back to Tenerife just for this place. Can’t recommend it highly enough! Five Stars!

The food at Torviscas was really good. The waiter and the owner (who is vegetarian and wants to expand the vegan menu) very friendly helped us with choosing the best options for us since nearly every dish also exists on the vegan menu (see last page full menu) and even surprised us with vegan ice cream for dessert. ☀️

Best Indian Food of my life - Edit
I am a vegan for more than 20 years and this is the best Indian vegan food I ever had! We went there 3 times during our stay in Tenerife. It was spectacular every time. The owner is a very nice guy and they have an extensive vegan menu - you can try out many combinations. It’s so great to have choice! You should definitely try the Karahi.

Incredible - Edit
Best meal of the holiday. Curry here was amazing and it has an entire vegan menu which the owner (vegetarian) is looking to expand. You can choose your curry filling (fake meat, veg etc) and heat. All curries are fresh and have so much flavour. The owner is really knowledgeable and I would recommend to everyone.

Better than the other Indian restaurants - Edit
I have tried a lot of different Indian restaurants on this island and this is by far the best. A bit more pricy than places like Bombay Baboo, but definitely worth it.

Recommended Indian with the cleanest & prettiest bathrooms - Edit
We found ourselves in Costa Adeje, later in the evening and hungry. Luckily Spanish eat late, and we assumed an Indian would be a safe bet for vegan friendly food.
Read moreShort walk, and difficult to find (we did not come from the beach boulevard, but from 'behind' so we had to go down to a parking lot and there it was).
Very very spacious and clean. Friendly waiters, fast serving of the food.
A whole page of vegan options, and the waiter, who was a vegetarian, knew all about the (best) options. Lots can be customized to vegan, but many vegan dishes ready to be ordered as well.
Vegan curries, naan, rice, samosas, etc. Also listened good to our spicyness wishes.
Big recommendation, for a great and tasty dinner. Would have awarded 5 stars if HappyCow allowed it! Super cheap as well (compared to the NLs at least).
The bathrooms are also worth mentioning, super pretty and clean, like a hotel.

Best Vegan Options in an Indian Restaurant in Tenerife - Edit
If Happy Cow allowed me I would have given it 5*’s! The choice is really great and the food itself is even better. It was all very flavoursome and distinctive with great quality meat alternatives. The service was superb and they really know their stuff when it comes to Vegan food. Well worth searching it out, we will definitely be back!

Fantastic Indian restaurant - Edit
Hidden in a small shopping centre, you can find this little gem. Probably one of the best Indian restaurant in the Adeje region with plenty of vegan/vegetarian options. The owner is a vegetarian himself and specialises in vegetarian/vegan dishes. Highly recommend trying their vegan king prawns and vegan curries! Don’t let the location of this restaurant fool you!
