Great spot

A wonderful spot for a stopover when visiting Zons. On the terrace you can look out into nature and the menu has 3 vegan (main) dishes, all of which are very appealing (including their speciality: tarte flambée). Today I chose the tofu bolognese with wedges and salad, which was really delicious. The staff is fast and friendly. Loved it!

Nice ambiance and tasteful dishes

Very Nice terras on a hot summer night.Great ambiance restaurant. Staff is friendly and their service excellent. There are a few very tasteful vegan and vegetarian dishes on the menu, which for a change are not pasta.

Delicious vegan options and friendly service

We stumbled across the Torschenke whilst visiting Zons. The building is a part of the medieval town wall. The service couldn't be friendlier. We had vegan Flammkuchen and Klöße with red cabbage and mushrooms, all very delicious.
Unfortunately they don't have soymilk for the coffee because the demand isn't high enough, so they understandably don't want soymilk to go to waste. Hopefully the demand for plant-based milks will go up, so that they're able to stock this, too, in future. If you're looking for great service and a proper, hearty meal, this is a good place to go. They also cater for functions. Opening hours depend on staff availability, so best check with them on the day.

Pros: great vegan options, friendly service, historic building

Cons: no soymilk as yet

Lovely and delicious

I had a Flammkuchen (tarte flambée) with a tasty tomato sauce and loads of fresh veggies. Lovely atmosphere, nice staff. They also offer a wide range of juices.

Nice dining in historical place

This is a very nice restaurant in a historical place in the medieval fort Zons. They serve meat and fish, but have some vegan options (including two vegan tarte flambee!), and all vegetarian dishes can be served in a vegan option. Very kind service.

Pros: Very good food, vegan options, Kind service, Cozy atmosphere in a historical place

Cons: Serves also meat and fish
