I had the noodle salad and they subbed tofu for chicken and it was delicious! But the kitchen was overwhelmed and it took about 45 minutes for us to get our food that night.

Our server gave me a number of options as several items can be made vegan. The lettuce wraps with tofu instead of pork were delicious.

Great Vegan Food - Edit
Top Hat always has some truly delicious vegan options! Menu is changed seasonally, so there is always something fun and new to try. The often have a vegan curry and some type of vegan taco option. Every option I've ever had is absolutely delicious.

Staff totally helpful with vegan options - Edit
Our waiter, once vegan, was great at helping us navigate the menu and making best choices. While the options were limited, the items we had were delicious - vegan Thai tacos, roasted Brussels sprouts, and the sweet potato “steak”. They even made a special dipping sauce for our fried pickles dish. Side note, the batter for the mushrooms is not vegan, as were told by waiter.

Excellent vegan options! - Edit
I finally tried the new menu at the Top Hat, and I am really impressed! There are two vegan entrees, a curry with cauliflower rice and pad Thai. I went with the pad Thai and it did not disappoint! Super creamy, honestly, somewhere between a spicy coconut curry and pad Thai, and I really enjoyed that! I would go back and get it again, because it is definitely the spiciest and tastiest and creamiest pad Thai in Missoula! It's also just super cool that you can go somewhere downtown (a bar) and get a decent vegan meal when you have drinks with a friend.
