Serves meat, vegan options available. Cafe with a small menu including two kinds of veg curry and different soups with local brown rice. The veggie quiche is made with soya milk. Has a big assortment of house-made muesli available and serves a range of smoothies. The vegetables are home grown. Has an upstairs 'Japanese' room for groups available and a small garden to sit outside. Located 10 min from the station next to the river. Dec 2018 reported having a separate meat menu. Early vegan dinner - Edit
We were a bit surprised about the super tasty, fresh cooked vegan curry in an “Muesli” cafe. The seasonal vegetables are home grown, and the owner speaks english. There is vegan cake for desert on the menu. Price is very reasonable and shop offers also homemade muesli and granola.

Nice place, several vegan options - Edit
A nice place for lunch! There are several vegetarian and vegan options available. I'd definitely recommend the vegan curry with lots of veggies and the vegan pie. It's so good! The staff is very friendly and gave us recommendations about visiting Takayama and surroundings.

Delicious and interesting soup - Edit
Would give it 5 stars but the app doesn’t allow me to:( They have a small menu consisting of veggie curry, veggie quiche, veggie soup, smoothies and loads of muesli. I had a curry veggie soup and tasted the veggies quiche. Both were good, but I loved the soup. The vegetables were fresh and home grown - this area is known for the quality of their vegetables because of the favourable climate. The soup also had muesli and goji berries which for me was really yummy! I’d recommend you give it a try.

Cozy little place - Edit
Nice place for a quick meal. They have a number of veggie/vegan choices. Some reviewers here, think it is a little bit expensive, but that applies to whole of Japan. Isn’t it?

Very nice healthy cafe in takayama - Edit
Perfect spot of fresh and delicious vegan or vegetarian food in Takayama. Easy to find near the heritage houses. Was open before lunch time so it was a great earlier option in the area. The owner is very nice and helpful, he makes delicious food with vegetables from his garden. There were lots of options for smoothies and muesli but we like savory meals and he was happy to make us the vegetable curry at 10:30am. Very fresh and filling. Lots of options for vegetarians like quiche, a few ones for vegan. He was very helpful with this. Very cute cafe!

Nice customer service and food to match - Edit
This was a great wee place with a few different options for vegan. They speak English well. The curry is nice and as they describe is dry. So full of spice and not sweet like a Indian curry, I enjoyed this though. The portion sized was what I expected for $.

Recomendable - Edit
El dueño es muy agradable y las verduras son de su propia cosecha. Hay 4 platos veganos: 3 sopas y un arroz al curry. La sopa de tomate estaba rica y la ración era buena. Ningún postre vegano.

it's ok. but not worth the price - Edit
I had the museli bowl and found the museli to be very basic (at home I would expect much better for 480 yen). It tasted fine but the museli was almost entirely oats (few nuts or anything else).

Pros: it has museli (probably the only place in takayama, there are vegetarian options
