Vegan special preparation - Edit
There doesn't seem to be many vegans in Destin/Santa Rosa Beach, so it's difficult to find a real vegan dish, so we're always happy when the restaurant makes an effort to accommodate us.
When we visit this restaurant, a couple of times each month, we ask the chef to prepare us a vegan meal, which he does, which is something not on the menu. Usually, the dish will be a large salad, olive oil, raw vegetables, nuts, etc., and always delicious.
We are grateful that the chef makes this effort and look forward to the day that veganism becomes mainstream enough for restaurants to include vegan dishes, or, eventually, to find a true and pure vegan restaurant in the area.
