I loved it here. The staff, decoration, the art galleries and the food! I went for birrias and nachos con queso (vegan cheese). Could go back every day for that same order. Unbelievable. Be sure to try de home prepared jalapeños!

El local es donde prepara es pequeño sin embargo se encuentra en una plaza donde encuentras más comercios y mesas de uso común para los diferentes locales que encuentras. El personal es muy amable y sus recomendaciones son 100% confiables

No hay gran variedad de postres, sin embargo el mousse de chocolate está rico.

I went into Tomeiro with one goal in mind: Try the Milanesa Sandwich, that I saw in the Happy Cow's reviews ... But surprised, this menu change on Saturday(I was not aware of). When I asked for the regular menu the answer was: Come on Monday... So sad...

This small restaurant is waited by very friendly staff who will make your torta dreams come true. I asked for a torta with milanesa and pastor and voila!! Added their delicious salsa to my torta and it was even better.

Delicious and Friendly - Edit
The traditional food here is so delicious. I don't know where they get their vegan "meats", but they are very convincing. I brought some non-vegan friends, and they said it was as good as the real thing. The owners and workers are very friendly and helpful (and some speak English, in case you don't speak Spanish). The setting is a family-friendly neighborhood that is active after dark, in a charming old building with a small dining table next to the kitchen and several tables in a larger atrium with a high ceiling and interesting décor. I go back to Tomeiro every time I am in Leon.

Un lugar muy tranquilo con riquísimas opciones veganas. El ambiente es muy sugerente con la temática de derechos de los animales y eso está genial. También me gustó que los precios son muy accesibles.

Surprised to find such a cool place in this town. I had a bean and quinoa burger, then I had the Ta’comelón (as a Mexican, I recommend it 100 %). If you like fast food and Mexican food, this is the spot.

Nice vegan option nearby León's downtown - Edit
El lugar es bastante agradable, cerca del centro de León, Guanajuato. El "tacomelón" es rico, pero la relación porción/precio no me parece muy buena. La torta de milanesa es maravillosa! Recomiendo pedirla con queso manchego vegano. En ésta sí había buena relación porción/precio. El servicio me pareció tardado pese a que sólo tenían dos mesas a parte de la mía. Consideren tomarse su tiempo. Vale la pena!
Read moreA really nice place nearby León's downtown, in Guanajuato, Mexico. I tried the "tacomelon", which wasn't bad, but to be honest, I wasn't too happy with the relation portion/price. The "torta de milanesa" is amazing! I recommend to add extra manchego vegan cheese. On this dish there was a really good relation between price and portion. The service was kind of slow in my opinion, even though there were only two more tables besides ours. Consider taking your time. It's totally worth it!
