If you’re vegan and anywhere near here, you absolutely must go! We got there a few minutes before they opened and there were 5 people already waiting, and I can see why. We got 11 items (😅) but we have no regrets. We saved a number of things for our lunch later and train trip the next day. We were only a couple days into our trip and I’m still confident those goods will be some of the best and skillfully made food we have. I loved the chewiness of the yeast raised donuts. The pistachio croissant was amazing, the filling’s flavor perfect and so light and airy. My favorite savory one was the mayo potato. I also had an iced oat matcha and it was perfect. It’s just so good, enjoy!

Delicious variety and incredible donuts - Edit
Really great stuff! A real standout was the pistachio cream croissant. Holy moly was that good. The donuts also were to die for. We came here twice during our trip and would’ve been happy coming every morning! Wish I had tried their baguettes as they looked professional.

so many options, it’s crazyyy
we tried so many different things cause we couldn’t decide haha but everything we got was 10/10!!!
the only thing that we didn’t “like” was that they don’t sell water or have tap water so you have to buy a drink and we didn’t really like what we got (peach soda)
so id recommend bringing your own water bottle if u don’t wanna buy a drink in addition to the pastries
the price is really fair for vegan pastries!!
i would loooove to go there again if i have the chance!!! 😮💨

Small vegan bakery with a great selection of sweet and savoury baked goods. It’s located on the rooftop of a concrete building and has a few outdoor seats. The atmosphere is really relaxed and cosy.

We’d spent a whole year dreaming of visiting Te cor gentil again. Unfortunately, Te cor gentil itself was closed that day, so we came to this collaboration with Universal Bakes instead.

We also couldn’t resist buying a few more pastries and enjoyed them right there on the balcony.

Title says it all, I love this place, and every time I go I buy an obnoxious amount of pastries, both sweet and savory. (Sometimes I get a drink too, their hojicha is sooo good and flavors are fun.) And I've never regretted a single one of my picks!! Seriously, it's all so good, I especially love their Japanese-inspired pastries, but they everything well. They also sell Japanese milk bread and packs of cookies and such sometimes.

Useful notes: the outdoor seating is picnic benches but they're covered, so it's fine even in the rain (like every time I've been for the past month lol). They have a little microwave oven inside that you're welcome to use, so you can heat pastries up!!

Lots of delicious pastries for a good price. We tried 2 matcha flavored pastries, and in both the matcha was a little more subtle than I would have liked, but still delicious. Can't speak to the other flavors.

The absolute best vegan pastries I’ve ever had in my life. I will be dreaming about the pistachio croissant, it was perfectly flaky and the creaminess inside was light and not too sweet. The old-fashioned chocolate doughnut was dense and delicious. The egg salad sandwich was a must try and I will definitely try to re-create this at home. I will be back again and again.
