Lovely find in a beautiful Square. - Edit
Had a currywurst with all the toppings. Delicious if a bit messy! Some things require a bit of construction so find somewhere to sit.

Taifun tofu in a food truck - Edit
Its difficult to find a better food truck than this one on the planet! You got the excellent Taifun products served with veggies in many variants. Black Forrest tofu on the grill. Taifun curry wurst. The name changed to Tofu Stand and the staff is doing their best to keep up with the demand. A "have to visit" place when you are around Freiburg. Just remember the opening hours.

Okay, it’s fastfood, but hey they have a large selection of different tofu products. And really good taste. Apparently they tofu brand ‘Taifun’ origins from Freiburg. Definitely worth visiting.

I loved to find a place with so many tofu options. I had a vegan Hotdog, but unfortunately they only offered it with a hot sauce, so it was a bit dry without the sauce. Would be great of they offered more sauce options. But the sausage was very good. Also, I feel like the women was a bit stressed and not that friendly.

Taifun tofu at the market - Edit
This is a little food truck at the market beside the minster. They sell handmade burgers and sandwiches with Taifun tofu products. Taifun is my favourite tofu brand, so I was excited to try something here.
Read moreMy husband chose a sausage burger and I had the Italian one (which is made with the Taifun pizza tofu). The burgers were rather simple with German rolls, a bit of tomato, cucumber and salad and a sauce. But they tasted great because the tofu is so good.
The staff could be a little friendlier and I also think that they could pack/wrap the burgers a little better, but apart from that this is a fantastic option to get a tasty and quick bite to eat in the very center of the city.
Pros: Simple, but delicious food, Quick and cheap, Ideal location
Cons: Service could be friendlier, Market can be crowded, No place to sit since it‘s a food truck

Had a bread with tofuslices, vegetables and sauce. Very good quick filling snack. They explained in English what the options are. One street further than the the truck are benches where you can eat your snack.

How neat to see a food truck like this in a historic town center. Food was a colorful work of art and absolutely delicious. (I got the Taescle/Doner.) Great prices and still incredible portions and fresh. Only reason not 5/5 was poor customer service experience.

Taifun is my go to Tofu brand, smoked tofu, olive tofu, and all of the various sausage options. So naturally I just love this place! I enjoyed this just as much as my last visit, this time I had the dubbelwurst (double sausage) with hot sauce, my beloved had the currywurst and the kids had normal wurst. Everyone was more than happy with lunch, delicious and great value.

It's a cute little van in the market place offering lots of vegan sausage options. Sadly my choice of curry wurst fell very short of expectations. The texture and taste of the sausages was unpleasant. I didn't finish it.

This food truck is the best! It’s bright green, in the middle of all the city activity and it promotes “vegan” in a big, bright, visible way. 5 stars for being a green beacon of vegan goodness. Ordered tofu bratwurst. You pick your toppings and it can be as clean or messy as you want. They also have burgers and pizza. Quick and easy and always at the market.

All-vegan in the heart of Freiburg - Edit
Located at the square of the cathedral, this stand couldn't be located any more central in Freiburg! The "Täschle" I had was a good portion for the price. Sadly, however, I didn't find it that tasty. The different flavours simply didn't match well.
