What a find this place was. It was absolutely incredible. Service is super friendly. Food came out fast. The flavours, portions, taste, and everything we had were great. My only regret is that we didn't eat here more 🤣

Since 2023 September we have a new system for payment reduction called Sospeso, so that each according to their income and possibilities can pay, while others donate in a solidarity pot so to speak, who can afford more. We introduced this opportunity as the inflation for our costs - as well as everywhere - rose faster than usual, and obviously the inflation and financial crises in these times affect people differently. At the same time we don't want to have indecent and inproper conversations with our farmers, deliverers, winemakers etc, and our workers, to push their prices inappropriately down, which at the end essentially would end up having the harvest helpers and the smallest workers etc underpaid and overworked.
As a result, those of our visitors who can afford more, contribute more into this solidarity pot, and those with a smaller budget can use the Sospeso for partial or full payment to cover a part of their bill or the entire one, as needed. The entire concept is described both in english and german in our menu in detail. Feel free to use it whenever you need it, and encourage others to do the same!

Wirklich gute Küche! Wirkt (und ist wahrscheinlich auch) alles selbstgemacht! Coole Idee mit dem Solidaritätspot. Service war bei beiden Besuchen freundlich, jedoch hätte ich mir bisschen mehr Aufmerksamkeit gewunschen (ist natürlich extrem subjektiv: manche Menschen genießen es, weniger vom Servicepersonal beachtet/gefragt zu werden).

Cozy restaurant in a quiet street close to the city center. Had the Kaspressknödelsuppe (soup with cheese dumpling) and the Umami (vegan meat balls with mashed potatoes and gravy), both of which were excellent. Friendly service, would definitely recommend this place!

Only con: The Kaiserschmarren was a bit doughy and not really fluffy inside and crunchy outside as I remembered them to be.
It’s more on the expensive side and the portions are a bit small, but that way you’ll have some space for desert and they have plenty😄

Nettes neues Lokal nahe der Innenstadt. Bei Auswahl der Möbelstücke haben Sie viel Wert auf Upcycling gelegt - find ich super. Allerdings ist es im Gastraum im Winter recht kühl - also unbedingt warm anziehen.
Read moreBeim ersten Besuch kurz nach der Eröffnung mussten sich die Abläufe noch einspielen, da wars etwas chaotisch. Ist Anfangs aber ganz normal ;)
Beim zweiten Besuch waren wir zum Frühstücken dort: ganz große Empfehlung!
Geschmacklich ist alles sehr lecker, die Portionen sind nicht zu klein, aber auch nicht riesig.
Update nächster Besuch:
- den gebackenen Camembert fand ich nicht so toll, würde ihn nicht wieder bestellen
- der Burger hat meinem Freund gut geschmeckt
- die Spaghetti Carbonara sind meeega und sehr empfehlenswert

We had the cheese platter, melon salad and the ratatouille and everything was very good! The main course was a very large portion and a bit oily and bland tasting but the rest was amazing. They have a quite limited selection of main courses, none of it thay healthy, but the first courses and deserts were really good
