Tiny Rebels - Edit
Tiny Rebels is a charming little café with warm and friendly staff. Their oat flat whites are exceptionally delicious, and I particularly appreciated the inclusion of two premium oat milks: Oatly and Roa. As a bonus, I was able to purchase a carton of Oatly to take back to my hotel.

I love this restaurant. It’s tiny, but cute. Definitely love the vibe there! The food is delicious, I can recommend the „Ultimate Brownie“. The stuff was also very friendly. I had to come back for another coffee.

These burgers were packed with flavour - I could taste lemon zest in the quacamole and the 'pretzel' buns added a nice twist. The potatoes were loadedddd with spices and herbs, crunchy and delicious (also very salty).
Read moreBrownie was amazing! Soft and chewy, almost creamy, and they ask if you want to add peanut butter, berries and ice cream on top (the ice cream is charged extra).
The soft cookie was also great but a bit dry and crumbly for my taste.
They also have a nice selection of bottled craft beer and cold brew coffee.
Everything was fresh, the staff was super nice and the toilet is modern, clean and smells nice.

What a lovely little gem in Heraklion. We had the scrambled tofu toast (one of them mixed with avocado), a pink smoothie and some cold matcha the lemon cake to end a nice lunch. It was so good!

Top food but slightly concerning memorabilia - Edit
Had a delicious cookie and hot chocolate. But then noticed both free Palestine signs along with a sports bag from the Munich 1972 Olympics. This made me feel very uncomfortable as the two items together suggest something more sinister than either item on its own. I raised this with the staff and they claimed ignorance of the 1972 Olympics, which is potentially believable, but they didn't say they would remove it immediately, just that it would be going to a child in a few days time. I have no issue with people saying Palestine should be free but I don't agree with celebrating the murders of others.

During my visit in Heraklion I tried the salty creten salad with a GREAT feta, the yoghurt bowl with what I believe was 7 different fruits (in July) together with a fat coconut cream that, unlike most coconut yoghurts, you could chew and not drink. I also had the lemon cake with chia seeds and blueberry jam that was a party in my mouth. I am very happy to have found this place and am only sad I didn't have time to go through the whole menu! I ordered the homemade hazelnut praline pancakes before I left though. It wasn't heavy like most hazelnut chocolate spreads, which made it easier to eat. They were 4 big and fluffy ones, so I could not finish all of them, but received a doggy bag. I would definitely recommend the toasts as they are incredibly well done.

Everything we ordered was delicious. The tofu *feta* in the Cretan salad was so impressive & the burger was yummy. Also the pancakes and brownie were so so good! What a lovely establishment with lovely staff. I wish this place success in the future🎉

We ordered a brownie, XL freddo cappuchino with protein scoop, mixed juice, and a hot chocolate. The people were super friendly and the orders came fast. The brownie was so gooey, I loved it (and so did my toddler who was begging me for a brownie before we got there). The cappuchino was very large indeed and tasted great.

Alles vegan💗Es gibt einige fantastisch schmeckende, herzhafte Gerichte wie das Rührei oder den Burger (hier könnte für meinen Geschmack etwas Salat dazu kommen). Die große Auswahl gibt es bei den süßen Sachen : von Pancakes bis Brownies bleibt kein Wunsch unerfüllt. Suchtfaktor ;)

We visited the café in the afternoon, but unfortunately the kitchen closes at 4 p.m., so we couldn't have anything hot to eat, which was a pitty. After our brief disappointment, however, we were won over by the cake (lemon cake and brownie with peanut sauce), which we found really delicious! The cappuccino that went with it was also very good. The service was very friendly. The café is really cute and nicely decorated. Definitely worth a visit!😄
