Good but small

I had the vegan chicken club sandwich. Everything can be made veggie or vegan without having to pay more for the vegan meat alternatives. The chips/fries are excellent, perfect crunchiness. The only downside is it was a bit smaller than I thought it would be. That being said 7 quid is a fair size/price ratio, and I don't recall it being listed as a main meal.

Pros: Great fries!, Everything veganable.

Cons: Sandwich was a bit bare. , Could be a bigger serving.

Good pub food

The food was tasty and not super expensive, love that almost everything can be made in a vegan version. Certainly not a fine dining experience but still good food

Great food and drink

Had a great hazy NEIPA. Are the salt and pepper caramel soy glazed seitan wings and veg rebel fries. So much food and for about £14. Still full!

Pros: The wings, The beer, The fries

Was served a real cheeseburger not the vegan one ordered

The service was awful as it was so slow, being ignored standing at the bar whilst staff chatted at the end, leaving just one young lady serving. She even mentioned it would be nice if they came to help me.

After getting a drink, I looked at the menu and ordered with one of the bar staff. It took an age for someone to go down to the kitchen to ask if they had gluten free buns. When they came back and said no, I just said ok I’ll have it naked (without the bun) and the vegan patty. Took a further half an hour to arrive and when it did it was a real cheeseburger! I took it to the bar and asked if that was the vegan burger and the member of staff said no.

There was no apology at all. She just said oh I’ll get them to remake it for you. Another half hour later and it comes back out. But I swear it was the same bun! Just been burnt some how and they’d picked the burnt bits off.

Retraining of staff is urgently needed. Serving someone food they’re allergic to is dangerous. I ordered a tiny Mac with no bun and the vegan patty because I’m allergic to meat and wheat. I was served a meat tiny Mac. I removed the bun and took a small mouthful but had to spit it out immediately as it was beef and I am allergic!

I visited because I saw all the reviews on here, but it wasn’t just disappointing with poor service, it was downright dangerous! Anyone with a serious food allergy could have been hospitalised due to their attitude to food safety.

Pros: The Diet Coke

Cons: The whole experience

Awesome vegan burger, great beer

The perfect place for a vegan junk food and craft beer lover. I had the "no clucks given" vegan chicken burger and it was phenomenal. Indulgent, delicous seitan and wonderful sauces. Also simply loved the beer, a huge choice. There were other vegan options on the menu - wings, pardon peppers, that I would like to go back to try. This is somewhere to eat and combine with drinks, not really for a quiet meal out, at least during the evening when we went. This is what we wanted so it was perfect but worth noting for those who might want more a quiet drink and a meal.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Craft beer, Loved the bar environment

Cons: Very busy - not a place for a quiet meal out

Awesome Seitan

Love their seitan, one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. They also have such an amazing selection of beers and super friendly staff. Support local breweries!

Great independent bar

Great bar right in the city run by a local brewery. Loads of vegan beers and ales all clearly marked and a great vegan menu with many different options including pizza, burgers, wings and sauces at fair prices. Great atmosphere well worth a visit.

Pros: Loads of options, Vegan beers, Seasonal menu

Vegan burger is decent - beers clearly labelled

I always struggle with making sure that the beers i order are vegan - so having it clearly labelled is ideal
The food is good - nice vegan options, if a burger or wings are what you are looking for, look no further.

Pros: Burger and wings, Beers

Cons: Expensive, Only one choice

Great food and atmosphere

Really good vegan options and it’s a great place to go to with a real bar feel. They brew their own beers some of which are vegan - staff is able to advise. I’ve had the southern fried chicken burger and also a falafel burger (special for the match days) both of which were really good and come with fries. We’ve also had the battered pickles which were good - nice crispy batter. Would definitely recommend - I’ll certainly be back myself to try the other bits on the menu😄

Pros: Good vegan options , Vegan beer, Great location and atmosphere

Cons: Can be a little chilly inside , Reduced menu on match days
