Serves meat, vegan options available. Small Indian restaurant in the Blackrock market with a small menu with many dishes that are suitable or can be adjusted to be vegan. Owners understand veganism. Reservations recommended in the evenings.
Ordered lunch menu dal today & we were unknowingly served & then charged for a dal from a different more expensive menu.
In spite of complaining the female owner refused to see anything wrong with this.
Don't be fooled be the size of this restaurant, its the best Indian food cooked, presented and served by the lovely Santosh and Millie. If, you haven't been put it to the top of your list. They always have options for every taste, sometimes only one but it'll be a good one.
Food here is fantastic. They started the restaurant in a small shed and have quickly grown to take up a large space in the market. Helpful with the menu and from the start accommodating to vegans.
We go here as often as we can, the owners are lovely and always pleased to accommodate vegan food requests (the chef thinks Indian food ought to be made without meat). Prices are very reasonable and you can bring your own wine for a corkage fee.
