Extraordinarily pretty place with ok-ish vegan food - Edit
Gorgeous, fancy restaurant inside the Schwetzingen castle grounds with clearly labeled vegan options (one starter, two mains, and a dessert).
Read moreWe had both mains and the dessert. While the mains were just okay, I'd consider them overpriced if not for the superb ambiance Still, it's perfect for special occasions.
A word of warning: The celeriac schnitzel with fries was served with packaged mayonnaise, which wasn't vegan; its ingredient list contained eggs. I made the staff aware but they didn't seem to grasp the issue's importance, so just read the labels if you order the dish.
The dessert, on the other hand, was next level. The lemon cake was fluffy and perfectly lemony, but what was really over the top was the coconut icecream! The best we ever tasted!
Pros: Outstanding ambience, Next-level dessert, Two mains and one starter clearly labeled as vegan
Cons: Pricey, Mayo wasn't vegan
