Love this restaurant

Just a few vegan options, but they are excellent enough to return time after time. Don’t miss the mushroom sandwich on homemade focaccia. Lovely outdoor patio setting. I’d give five stars, but Happy Cow reserves that for fully vegetarian restaurants.

Delicious options!

My favorite dish is the tofu rancheros, perfect with a soy latte. The banh mi is also great.
Recommend you stop in and give this gem a try.

Excellent sandwiches

The Banh Mi and Fried Tofu sandwiches were excellent. The focaccia is fluffy and crisp, and the cornmeal dredged tofu was unique and very well prepared. Prices aren’t listed on their website but it came out to $18-$24 per person. Perfect spot for after a beach day.

Nice vegan options here

Update review on 8.16.2025
Tons of cars in the parking lot but no line to order food.
Had a sando that was like a Bahn mi only on focaccia bread. It was really good! You get tons of fries as a side.

We were out and about and had to check Wind Poppy out. Nice selection of vegan food to be had here. We weren’t too hungry so we split the Cosmic Queso Nachos. Pretty filling and tasty too. Queso was creamy, crunchy thick chips. The place has been updated with paint and small store. You do order at the counter, grab a number then find a table. Lots of indoor or outdoor tables.
I dropped off a Happy Cow sticker to the owner. Look forward to trying more menu items.

The best veggie food in Sonoma County!

I’ve eaten here every few weeks since they opened in the spring of 2024. They have a lot of great vegan options on the regular menu, and there’s alway something new to try from their specials. This particular visit we had the Delicata squash tostada and the vegan bahn mi sandwich on their house-made focaccia bread. The food is delicious, and they use mostly seasonal, organic, locally-sourced ingredients. The inside of the restaurant is cozy, clean, and peaceful. They also have a huge garden patio with live music most weekends. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

Pros: Healthy , Tasty , Good vibes

Cons: They do serve some meat options

Amazing Food & Atmosphere

Wild Poppy has quickly become our favorite destination in Sonoma County. They have many clearly labeled vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options (as well as a dedicated GF fryer), and they use fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients. They bake their own bread for the sandwiches, as well as various cookies and other pastries. They have a nice selection of craft beers, local wines, and delicious mimosas. The back patio is spacious and relaxing, sits next to a creek, and often features live acoustic music. It's the perfect spot for brunch or for a bite of food when you’re headed to or from the beach.
