Fantastic and so delicious! This 100% vegan café is truly a hidden gem in New York. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. If you’re in the area, definitely give this place a try you won’t be disappointed!

Ok let me tell u something. Prob one of the top 3 sandwiches I ever had in my life. I got the bombo claat… lawd have mercy. It’s one of those joints u take a bite and a lil dance comes out.

So the same chef used to own Ital Kitchen next door, but he closed up shop about 3weeks ago and merged w this place.
Please patron this little shop in crown heights. It’s so worth it.

Incredible Sandwich and Soup - Warm Atmosphere - Edit
I had an incredible oyster mushroom sandwich (the "Damn Boy Wrap") for lunch at The Vital Shoppe in Crown Heights, Brooklyn today. The mushrooms had such a delicious coating, smooth and tangy, I'm still imagining how good it was. In fact, it was so good that I made a second trip to Crown Heights from Manhattan to have my dinner there on the same day. I got the Reggae Bowl (kale, mushrooms, plantains), a spicy red bean soup, and ginger cookies. All were so good and I can't wait to go back! Crown Heights is heaven for vegans, and this great restaurant is just another wonderful reason to visit the lovely neighborhood.
