Restaurant Privately Acknowledges “Not much in the way of vegan options”

We are planning a trip to Lake Louise this summer, so I reached out to The Station Restaurant using the contact link on the restaurant’s website to ask about vegan options because I could not find any on the restaurant’s online website. John Mather from the restaurant replied, telling me that there is “not much in the way of vegan options,” although the restaurant sells salads and cooked vegetables. He declined to comment about whether those items were or could be served without dairy or meat in the seasoning. This restaurant does not belong on happy cow based both on it online menu and communication from its staff.
