Sad Salad Bar Only

The menu was loaded with fried chicken and burgers. We asked what veg options there were and were told only the salad bar (and that they did not have sandwiches that could be made meatless).

We took a peak at the $15 salad bar, and it looked pretty bland. Canned mini corn, pale bacon bits, etc. The pasta salad looked okay. It might have been fine, but we decided not to find out.

Pros: Clean and spacious

Cons: Veg options

South of the Boarder Dillon South Carolina

An oasis in South Carolina. Has a small grocery store. Sombrero restaurant has huge salad bar clean and fresh produce and fruit. Will make any substitutions you ask for to accommodate vegan diet. Had tacos with beans no meat or cheese. Motel clean with indoor heated pool and SAUNA. Breakfast fruit and coffee French fries. Polite staff. We have been here twice. Is really an experience & no problems finding vegan food. Fun kitschy place to rest on a long road trip.
