Seeds has everything! - Edit
I stayed in Hoi an for one month and was so glad when I found Seeds. It has a wonderful menu with a mix of Vietnamese local foods and interesting western dishes, all fresh and handmade. Not much oil, good size portions, great flavours 😊🤩
Read moreThe staff are kind, there is free wifi and space to chill or do work. Recommend the smoothies, sweet potato fries, anything with their homemade jam. Of course their desserts.
All fairly priced!
I hope more people can find this lovely restaurant ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Pros: Variety, Flavour, Freshness
Cons: Small tables, Hidden away (less people will find it😒)

Big review ahead!!! Exceptional!! - Edit
I know there are already countless raving reviews about this place, but I honestly can’t hold myself back — Seeds is truly exceptional on every level.
Read moreYou do have to work a little to find it… but that’s often where the most magical hidden gems are. The owner is an absolute wizard.
We were first drawn in by the desserts — and they did not disappoint.
Visit 1:
We tried the apple crumble cake and the Bounty.
The crumble was moist, creamy and lightly caramelised. The Bounty was crisp with a fresh, delicate coconut flavour. Perfection.
⚠️ Warning: come early in your trip, because you will want to come back.
Visit 2:
The baked cheesecake and cinnamon scroll. Nothing is held back in these cinnamon scrolls — so fresh, light and packed with flavour. The cheesecake was small but incredibly creamy, almost like a baked custard.
Visit 3:
We returned specifically for the homemade Snickers — and entered full vegan heaven. A thick, generous layer of caramel, whole peanuts, a crumbly but light base… absolutely sensational.
Visit 4:
By now we knew the food would be in the same league as the desserts — and we weren’t wrong.
The Cao Lầu fried noodles took us straight back to the bold flavours of Thailand, compared to the milder profiles often found in Vietnam.
We then came back again for dinner and tried the chicken rice and the Seeds burger.
Words can’t describe the chicken rice — every single element was delicious. An absolute must try.
The burger was exquisite: a soft, light, fluffy homemade green bun, topped with a passionfruit sauce to die for.
We finished with the beetroot chocolate brownie — light and fluffy like cake, yet rich and deeply chocolatey.
We only wish we were staying longer. Huge thank you to Seeds for hands-down the best food we had in Hoi An.
Three weeks into our vegan food tour of Thailand and Vietnam — and this place truly stands out. 🌱✨

Nice hidden cafe - the nicest staff ever - Edit
A cute cafe - really hidden in an alleyway. But the food is great. It's run by the sweetest lady ever. I tried the chicken rice, and the Vietnamese pancake (Bahn Xeo). I much preferred the pancake.

Loved the chicken - Edit
Located in a quiet corner of the central area. Very modern vibe making it feel like Seoul or Hong Kong. I had the local chicken rice and the chicken had excellent texture. From the looks of it, I thought it was just shredded mushrooms, but it had tougher and more chewy texture than mushrooms. Would highly recommend to people who like meat replacements.
Read moreThe eggnog had a surprising aftertaste that tasted like raw egg whites, which I never had in vegan food before. Definitely worth a try for people who like eggnogs or raw eggs.

Great restaurant, nice drinks! - Edit
We came here to try the chicken rice and it did not disappoint. The fake-chicken was tasty and the rice flavourfull. The soup that came with it was good too!
Read moreThe drinks were the highlight, because I got too have a Reddy Lassi, which was different from most Lassi’s I ever had, it was thicker but also tastier. It’s recommended. My partner tried the Eggnog and really liked it. They also have many baked goods. Would love to come back to try more!
There are 6 ground seats downstairs and about 15 table seats upstairs. They have AC too. Staff is very friendly and speaks good English. A lovely vegan restaurant.

Lovely little place! - Edit
A really cute and cosy cafe tucked away in a quiet, local spot. The staff are lovely and speak English well, which made things easy. The calming zen music added to the relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious, with plenty of gluten-free options. I had the vegan chicken rice, which was full of flavour, and the Snickers bar for dessert- so good! Definitely planning to come back.

Very good - Edit
Fantastic menu and very sweet, gentle staff. The deserts are what set this place apart! Never see vegan deserts, ever! I ate a delicious “snickers” and I had more time in Hoi An would come back here daily for a different sweet treat! I sat down on a floor seat and table as soon I entered which wasn’t ideal air con wise but I think it was the ground floor and that perhaps there was an upper floor which some people exited from. Will definitely be coming back next time!!!

Good food at great prices - Edit
Really nice to see some nice quality vegan food with pricing more along the lines of normal local spots. I had the chicken rice which I enjoyed, and I believe it was using tofu skin as the chicken substitute. Surprisingly zesty or citrusy or something flavor I wasn’t expecting but it was nice.
Read moreThe snickers bar dessert is served nice and freezing cold, yet somehow the caramel is still smooth and syrupy. Soooo nice given the brutally hot weather!

Vegan Paradise - Edit
I ordered a tofu scramble, even though, that I usually don't order this in a restaurant. As my own version is pretty good, so usually, I don't like them somewhere else. But this, I have to admit, I really liked it. I also had the snickers and cinnamon roll. I had the reddy lassy drink and will definitely try to make that at home too. Overall, I am really impressed with the choices and the food taste. I didn't have that in Ho Chi Minh City. Cam only recommended to check google maps and follow down all the alley to find it.

Gutes Essen, Service schlecht - Edit
