Delicious dumplings

I stopped in here for dumplings on the recommendation of this and other review sites. The dumplings were as fantastic as everyone said. She asked for my spice level and I said medium, and I would say it’s medium by typical Asian standards rather than typical ‘Western’ standards. The only down side is that the employee who took my order asked if I wanted 6 or 8 dumplings and I said 8 but was served 6, so I ended up unsure whether I’d paid for more dumplings than I got or if the miscommunication was at the ordering point. (I was the only customer left by the time I was served so no one was still at the counter to ask when I realized the error)

Pros: Fantastic vegan dumplings made to order , Nice spice level

Great Vegan Dumplings

Clear menu with great vegan options. If in area great lunch option. Busy with office workers lunchtime on week days. Loved it!

Good spot for lunch

Multiple vegan meals available. Dumplings very good. Not much room inside if weather is bad.

Best Vegan Dumplings, Bao Buns in Auckland CBD

Working in close proximity to the Wynyard Quarter store, Rolling Pin is an almost weekly lunch option.
The service is always polite, the food preparation is also very prompt. This store can get quite busy around weekday lunchtimes, due to its proximity to many large office complexes, but we’ve never encountered a wait more than 10-15 minutes even at the busiest of times.

The vegan dumplings, are a great hot food option that is an absolute favourite of ours. Topped with a tasty salad, soy sauce and the option to add some heat with chilli oil - this certainly hits the spot.
In saying that - the noodle salad and bao bun options also come highly recommended by us, particularly when you’re not after something hot for a meal.
