The Rhubarb Shed always serves up delicious vegan food in their omni cafe.

It is very busy and always best to book rather than just turn up.
The only downside for me is the noice level. This won't affect the majority of visitors but for me it was really painful sitting through the volume of chatter amongst the other diners. Everyone is talking over everyone else very loudly, which happens in lots of establishments but for those that don't have any soft furnishings at all, or any fabrics as hanging art, it makes for a very hard interior for all the noise to bounce off instead of being absorbed.
I do recommend this place for the vegan food but unfortunately I won't be able to return as it was far too painful an experience for me.

Good selection of vegan options - they do serve vegetarian and meat dishes - including delicious cakes and puddings. Ideal for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Afternoon tea has to be booked in advance. Advisable to book a table as they get very busy. There are tables outside to use if the weather is ok. Unfortunately the noise level inside is very high - uncomfortably so at times.

We decided that we wanted a good breakfast but thought our chances slim to get in at Rhubarb without booking. We gave it a chance with a plan b but were pleasantly surprised to be able to get a table as a walk in on a Sunday morning. As always the portions were huge. The quality is amazing and nothing is too much trouble. I can’t recommend this place enough!

I wasn't sure what to expect from the vegan cream tea, but I was blown away. Excellent quality, lots of variety and plentiful. I had to box some up to take home. Best cream tea I've ever had. Would definitely recommend.

The vegan afternoon tea here is unbelievably good. A tiny vegan trifle, mini cakes and vegan pork pies, etc . have come here on many occasions with friends, and it's always fab. The vegan pudding selection features bakewell pudding, etc...whoever made the vegan menu for this place has done a great job ❤️ beautiful gardens to sit outside in spring & summer too!
