Nice vegan surprise - Edit
Ordered the fish sandwich, beef & broccoli, and teriyaki chicken. Got brussels sprouts, home fries, and mac & cheese for sides. Everything was delicious and made to order (which did take 25/30 minutes, but was worth waiting for). Friendly counter service and funky ambiance inside where they have a few dine-in tables. Menu had lots of sandwiches as well as etrees to choose from. They also have a drink menu with juices, milkshakes, etc which sounded good. Not cheap, but fairly priced. In total, our three orders were $52. Lucky find while passing through Columbia on a road trip!

Everything was soooo tasty!!! I dined in and he let me know that they had a few orders to complete before mine. I was happy to wait and it was definitely worth it. The vibe and all the food was great! I will definitely be going back multiple times to try the rest of the menu.

We stopped on our way through Columbia. This is located in a strip of storefronts and appears - at first- to be closed. Counter ordering and take out must be popular as many orders were waiting. The staff was friendly, and helpful. We ordered the Gyro -and burger each with two sides in the meal. The sweet potato fries are not crispy, but seasoned subtly sweet. yummy! Okra was good, mac&cheese my least favorite in side selection. There is inside dining available- ambiance is not a thing here, but it was clean and welcoming. Note- food took 20-25 min but worth the wait.

My husband and I tried The Reizod Vegan Experience for the first time and would recommend that you order ahead because it is a very long wait. The food is good, but they seem to be primarily focused on presentation over portions. My husband ordered the nachos and there were more chips than topping and my side of fruit had garnishes on them, which threw me off. Overall, the food is good just wish there was more of it to enjoy. Also, they have very welcoming and caring staff.

I ordered the Experience Burger with sweet potato fries and plantains. Everything was delicious. The sweet potato fries were seasoned with cinnamon sugar, so they are more sweet than savory. The burger is a house-made patty that reminded me of the field roast burger.

I was excited to stop here on our way through Columbia. Love trying new veg places and supporting them. With all the positive reviews I expected it to be great.
Read moreWe tried two things and found them to be mediocre at best, especially for the price. The Philly was some kind of chopped up tofurkey with melted cheese and some peppers and onions. Total junk food made of things they probably got at the store. Nothing unique or homemade about it.
Husband got the burrito and it was basically the same ingredients wrapped in a tortilla. It’s like they have a few store bought things that they reformulate for different meals. Does not demonstrate any cooking or creativity whatsoever. Especially for the $16 I paid for my meal.
The Mac and cheese was, yet again, the same cheese sauce used on everything else. It tasted good but was gluey. The plantains were definitely good but didn’t save the meal.
Wouldn’t stop here again. I appreciate that it’s all vegan but I’d hope they’d have some more stuff than just chopped up store bought food put on a roll.

I initially was worried by the looks of the place. I wasn’t sure I was at the right location until the side of the vehicle said 100% Vegan. I went to park and walk up to order, but instead was handed a menu a with a phone number and told to park in a different location. This was my first impression and I wasn’t feeling it. However once I called and talked to them I felt much better. The food came out as I asked for it to and I just kept being impressed with the visual appeal of the food as well as the flavor. Every item dip-pable came with sauces and every food platter came with a complimentary water. I was alone but I ordered for a family of 5. I wasn’t disappointed by anything but the Mac and Cheez and the Velvet Bundt cake. They were nice and even gave me a discount because I stopped in and was just passing through their city. I love 4 hours away and already plan to take my significant other there to show him how good it really was.

Never a Bad Meal - Edit
I really and truly do love Reizod Vegan Experience. There might be more than four places that specialize in vegan food in Columbia, not sure, but I do know that RVE is my favorite, hands down. I tried it for the first time about a year ago. Since they're a food truck, I'm not sure if Covid affected them very much do I'm thrilled that they're still alive and kicking.
Read moreDuring my first time there, the gentleman who brought the food to my car informed me about their meal plan, which would enable me to save several dollars on each meal. I signed up for the plan, which afforded me a certain number of meals for a fixed price. The caveat was that I'd have to order a day in advance. Had there been a delivery option, this would have been ideal but there was not so I didn't renew. Even though I seriously love the food, I live nearly 30 mins away and am vision impaired so it was difficult for me to get the food when I wanted. I'm not sure if they still offer the and wish they'd open up a site near me!
Anyway, as for the food, y'all, it's stinking delicious! I've been on a quest to try everything they have on their menus. Follow them on Facebook to get updated info about the menus and specials. I've had the "seafood" platter, steak and cheese sub and many other dishes and have NEVER been disappointed. I must make special mention of my runaway favorite item: the plantains. I don't know what they do to them & must try to reverse engineer the recipe LOL. They're sweet but not cloying and there's a hint of cinnamon that takes it over the top for me. I also need to mention that I appreciate how they open your container to show you your steaming hot, heaven-scented food to demonstrate that you have the right meal and that it's acceptable. First time they did that, I was totally hooked. I've only come across one other place that does this, namely Chinese American House on Garner's Ferry, and it screams good customer service to me.
Enough--I could do an advertisement for them!

I tried this restaurant from the food truck setup. Two stars because they weren't setup particularly well, the food was a little too salty, and they were slow to get food served. About their setup: there was no menu or pictures of food to view. I was surprised because those are the first things displayed to attract people to a food truck. I know many meat eaters who would happily try this if they saw what the food looked like. They wrote a few menu options down on a 8.5''x11'' piece of paper, so I could see what was available for the day. The only option for a drink was bottled water, but I'm not sure if that is normally the case.
Read moreDespite all of that, the food was definitely delicious. I would definitely try this restaurant again. I ordered the gyro with kale salad, which I highly recommend! The issues I had were things that they can easily fix in the future, and I'm sure they'll do so.

I was traveling through Columbia on my way to Georgia and stopped there for lunch. The food was outstanding. I had a vegan Philly Cheesesteak and the wingz. Coming home I had to stop again. This time I got a gyro and even more wings. I highly recommend!

It really does not look like a vegan restaurant from the outside more like a closed store. As soon as you come in it feels way better since they welcomed you nicely.

The menu is too large to be done well. There are many different food cultures represented, but are not done in an authentic way using authentic seasonings. The international dishes taste like how someone might interpret the dish without being familiar with the food or culture. The food overall is pretty plain. I think it is about the level that the average person could cook it themselves at home. The portions vary a lot between dishes, so you never really know what to expect. Also - the owner doesn't believe that tap water is vegan so I thought that was pretty strange.
