They cook the food to order, so don't go in thinking it's fast, but it is so worth the wait. We had the Jambalaya Pasta, Mac & Cheese, and Buffalo Chickn, and it was incredible! 🍉🍉🍉

Excellent Vegan Food - Edit
Came here twice, two days in a row while visiting Columbia for Ft Jackson Boot Camp Graduation. So happy to find this place. LOVED the vegan wings, and the vegan Jerk Chicken. Their sides are healthy and delicious. I enjoyed the grilled Brussels sprouts each time. Friendly staff, as well.

I was in town and decided to give this place a try. I have eaten at two other vegan restaurants in the area and both were better than this. I ordered the fried okra, cauliflower bites, and spring rolls. The fried okra and cauliflower bites had more breading that actual okra and cauliflower. The spring rolls tasted doughy. I expected the food to be some much better.

I Plan My Work Trips Around Their Hours - Edit
I don't live in SC but travel to and through for work and always plan it to where I can get my Chickpea Masala over quinoa with a side of brussel sprouts. I alternate my second and third sides. The collard greens last night were good, as was the zucchini salad.

Delicious pasta salad but be prepared to wait - Edit
ordered the sliders, Cajun pasta, and pasta salad. The pasta salad was the best! It was creamy and well seasoned. The other food was not worth the 1 hour wait. I ordered online and had to wait about 30 mins upon arrival. The girls working were sooooo sweet and tried their best to be efficient. They verified every order before customers left which I really liked. The sliders are from the vegan meat blocks that you make patties with and I just don't like the flavor. The pasta looked just like the pic online but the taste was something I wasn't expecting and I think that's a me thing versus the pasta. I am not sure I'd try this place again and that's mostly because of the wait.

Fantastic Food and People! - Edit
We were traveling through the area and stopped to grab lunch. This is easily one of the best restaurants I have been to. From the oyster mushrooms to the plantains to the jambalaya pasta to the collard greens, everything was great and had wonderful flavor. The number of selections is unreal. The people were very nice too!

The crab and shrimp over pasta was small and drowning in a cheesy sauce that was way too salty. The jambalaya pasta was just OK. We called in our order ahead of time—an annoying experience due to blasting dance music that made it very difficult to be heard. We ended up relieved when they couldn’t seat us and we had to get takeout because the atmosphere was dreadful. The front of the restaurant has dark, dirty windows covered by ugly missized curtains and was not very clean. A few plants, flowers on the tables and decent decor and music wouldn’t cost a lot but would add so much! Less salt too…hope this restaurant can get it together.

Stellar flavors! Tons of options! - Edit
This place really hit the spot after a long morning of travel and eating from packages. The flavors are delightful and the food feels both healthy and decadent. I ordered the chik'n salad with brussel sprouts and my husband ordered the double cheeseburger with collard greens. We split a chocolate milkshake which legit tasted like what we remember McDonald's milkshakes to taste like, but better and cruelty free! Highly recommend and we will be returning at least once more on our travels to see the Congaree fireflies!

Lots of vegan options and the staff was very nice! Some dishes were good, others not so much. I feel like it’s quantity of vegan dishes over quality of the food here. The juices were also very good!

A Must Go To When In Columbia, SC! - Edit
We went to Reizod’s again recently and as always were so happy with the service and the meal! Ashley and Chef Lou are simply wonderful and make the experience absolutely outstanding! YUM..and, yes, YUM in all caps! A few pictures attached but didn’t take pictures of everything because, frankly, we just dove in and started eating…and kept eating! We are looking forward to visiting again!

Went back & got the double cheezburgers, mac & cheez, strawberry cheezcake & 2 different strawberry cupcakes.
The owner, Chef Lou, updated the menu because of feedback from his customers. This is AMAZING to see! He increased the burger sizes, the cheezcake size & installed more air conditioners. The food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS & the burgers were the perfect portion size. Got full off of 1 double cheezeburger & mac & cheez. Their desserts are outstanding! I highly recommend trying the strawberry cheezecake.
He also said they're expanding their restaurant to add more seating. AMAZING! Not enough people can take constructive, truthful criticism and turn it into something so positive. He seems like an awesome man!
Let's give our business to this AMAZING small business owner & make him grow. LOVE all the positive changes Chef Lou! Keep up the amazing work & wonderful healthy food!!!

LOVE the taste of the food! They use quality ingredients at a mediocre price. Had the bacon cheeseburgers, spicy chikn wraps, nachos, cheesecake, shakes & juice. The flavor of EVERYTHING was OUTSTANDING! Just unhappy with portion size & left not feeling full. Spent almost $100. One would think, you'd leave happy & full. We will come back & maybe try something else.

Read moreI visited this restaurant again today (party of two). The owner (Chef Lou) was there and let me know he had seen my earlier review. He informed me that he appreciated my constructive criticism and initially offered to comp my party with four sides & four deserts. He Ultimately, comped four deserts now and promised me a free meat lovers pizza at my next visit. He also updated the air conditioning system by installing two wall-mounted units and another portable unit, which made it nice and cool indoors (so we ate there), informed me of a new indoor lounging area coming soon, and increased the portion sizes of the food!
Now THAT's how you respond to honest feedback!
As for the food. My party ultimately got four Double Cheezeburgers (with free soy-free Ba'con upgrades), four Mac & Cheez sides ($15 for each burger and side), two slices of Strawbeery Cheezecake, and two strawberry cupcakes (which we have yet to eat).
I am not exaggerating when I tell you that (minus the cupcakes we have yet to eat), my party and I agree that this was THE BEST VEGAN FOOD WE HAVE EVER EATEN from a restaurant, not just within South Carolina, but within any state within which we've eaten (which is a few); and with the portion size upgrades it's reasonably priced.
Not only were the Double Ba'con Cheezeburgers, Mac & Cheez, and Strawberry Cheezecake ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, but with the portion sizes increased, we were full after eating just one burger and one side of Mac & Cheez each! That's getting full from vegan food for 15$!!! From my experience, that's a feat!
Overall, we are both HIGHLY SATISFIED AND IMPRESSED with both Chef Lou (who clearly takes pride in his business and food and appreciates his customers and their feedback) and the offerings at Reizod Vegan Experience and HIGHLY recommend eating there!
Chef Lou seems like a really great guy. If there were more business owners (or people, in general) like him the world would be a better place.

AMAZING My favorite restaurant - Edit
This spot it truly a gem. As a vegan, it is very hard to eat out without any issues. When i come here i have no more worries. Price is affordable, portions are large, options are endless, food is amazing every time, and i know everything is clean and vegan.

Superb Flavor Amazing Portions - Edit
Milkshakes, Smoothies, Biodegradable, Options without limits, amazing staff. This place was mind blowing to say the least. Wish we had one of these in every city. Don’t walk if you’re in the area run and enjoy. The best bang for the buck we found in South Carolina.

Ordered the fish sandwich, beef & broccoli, and teriyaki chicken. Got brussels sprouts, home fries, and mac & cheese for sides. Everything was delicious and made to order (which did take 25/30 minutes, but was worth waiting for). Friendly counter service and funky ambiance inside where they have a few dine-in tables. Menu had lots of sandwiches as well as etrees to choose from. They also have a drink menu with juices, milkshakes, etc which sounded good. Not cheap, but fairly priced. In total, our three orders were $52. Lucky find while passing through Columbia on a road trip!

Everything was soooo tasty!!! I dined in and he let me know that they had a few orders to complete before mine. I was happy to wait and it was definitely worth it. The vibe and all the food was great! I will definitely be going back multiple times to try the rest of the menu.

We stopped on our way through Columbia. This is located in a strip of storefronts and appears - at first- to be closed. Counter ordering and take out must be popular as many orders were waiting. The staff was friendly, and helpful. We ordered the Gyro -and burger each with two sides in the meal. The sweet potato fries are not crispy, but seasoned subtly sweet. yummy! Okra was good, mac&cheese my least favorite in side selection. There is inside dining available- ambiance is not a thing here, but it was clean and welcoming. Note- food took 20-25 min but worth the wait.
