Love having an all vegan option in carlsbad village! It’s a great, easy option for pick up or dining in. I went all the time when they first opened but I feel like I’ve had some inconsistent orders as of lately so I’ve found myself going less. Went back for the first time in a few months and we weren’t disappointed. I was happy to get there in time to try one of their breakfast burritos. It was more of a wrap than what I would go for if i was craving a burrito- but delish nonetheless

Perfect Lunch Spot - Edit
The Plot Express is a lunchtime delight! The outdoor seating adds a fun vibe to the experience. The menu boasts plenty of options, all perfectly portioned. The brunch egg burrito stole the show with its delectable combination of flavors but all the options were delicious. The Cubano was another standout option! A must-try spot for those seeking a perfect balance of taste and atmosphere!

Read morefries. Everything was underwhelming/just okay. The fries were tasty (didn’t love the cheese sauce though). None of it was worth going back for, but we still appreciate vegan options in the area. The people working there were super friendly & helpful!

What a nice all vegan spot!! I was hungry for a salad and the Caesars Salad with Chikn was delicious. The Chikn was amazing. Best I’ve had in a while. Several items on their menu. Wish I could sample all of them.

Incredible Caesar Salad - Edit
I ended up eating here a few days in a row for lunch just for the “chicken” Caesar salad because it was so good. I can’t speak for the other menu items as I didn’t try them but everything looked amazing. The tofu on the salad was cooked so perfectly and the lemon and pickled onions made the salad so tasty. I will definitely be back here in the future when visiting again!

A great new vegan option in Carlsbad - Edit
The Plot Express addresses the main problem with the Plot restaurant in Oceanside - not being open on Mondays and Tuesday! Seriously, this new location is great. Same great quality and service (Maria is the best!) as the Oceanside location, but a different menu. If you are hungry while traveling between LA and San Diego this is a great option as it’s an easy on/off from the I-5.

Carlsbad's Plot Express - Edit
We tried Carlsbad's newest plant-based eatery, the Plot Express last night and it was fantastic. Great food and nice courtyard atmosphere. The restaurant does not have indoor dining; however, the central courtyard fills this void. Plenty of outdoor seats are available in a nice central courtyard. I had the Cubano sandwich along with the amazing truffle fries. My wife had the Taco salad bowl which she loved. If you are looking for a quality vegan restaurant you must give the Plot Express a try. Note this is a spinoff of the Plots main indoor dining restaurant in Oceanside CA. Which you must try as well.
