Dangerously good

As we live on a road just off of camo so we wanna eat here all the time. So much love for them! Staff are lovely and we wish there was jacket potatoes and vegan cheese option, maybe also more meaty sandwiches too like Tofurky and mayo etc 😊 Best vegan lunch stop on the go

Pros: All vegan , Good food, Well priced

Cons: No seating

Pasty’s!

It’s great that a 100% vegan ‘greggs’ type shop has opened in the city centre. They sell a great range of pasty’s - the breakfast pasty is my fave but I’ve tried them all and they’re all delicious. The desserts often change and are fresh and tasty. They also have sausage rolls, soups, goulash, sandwiches, shakes and hot drinks.

Pros: Food is yummy, Great for ‘on the go’ food

Cons: Isn’t open on my way to work

AMAZING PLACE !!!

Visited The Plant for the first time yesterday. As a non-vegan/vegetarian I was a bit sceptical, but my friend insisted that everything was amazing.

There were so many things to choose from and everything is 100 percent vegan. I can imagine this being a god-send for all the vegans in Sheffield - not having to ask which options they can go for, they can just choose anything ! Very impressed.

I had a "Coronation Cauliflower" baguette thingy, an oat milk latte and a frikkin HUGE cinnamon roll which I found hard to believe was vegan.

Glad to have found somewhere that offers different and interesting things for lunch near my work. Absolutely amazing, will definitely visit again.

Pros: Amazing choice, Everything completely vegan, Friendly, helpful staff.

Cons: Not open Sundays, Closes before i finish work

Smashing Place

Apart from the smashed window, the small shop of the Plant was all you could ask for. We were welcomed by an incredibly kind man behind the counter who took us through the menu and chatted about the family-run vegan shops in Sheffield. We ordered a sausage roll, goulash, hot chocolate and a cheesecake - all of which were great and would definitely enjoy. For just a week or so of opening we were very impressed. Looking forward to visiting it again and sampling more of the handmade menu.

Amazing pasty

My boyfriend was in Sheffield today and brought me back a cheese and onion pasty. Heated it back up and oh my god it's so good! I wish I lived in Sheffield.

Pros: Vegan, Friendly, Cheap

Plant-Based Power Plant

We were lucky enough to find about this place whilst visiting Steel City Cakes. It actually opened whilst we were in Sheffield. How amazing is that. We had a cheese and onion pasty and a breakfast pasty with coffee to go. They were both absolutely divine. I don’t mess about. As a vegan you don’t often get the chance to appreciate a cheese and onion pasty of this quality. It’s a take away with cakes and healthy Buddha bowls too as well as milkshakes and other hot drinks. Good luck to The Plant. You are the future

Pros: vegan pasties, friendly , modern

Cons: no seating

Fantastic

Every city needs The Plant. They provide a great selection of vegan savoury and sweet snacks to take away. The pasties we had were phenomenal, I was pleased to recently try the new vegan Thai vegetable pasty from The West Cornwall pasty Co. which was good but not a patch on the breakfast pasty I devoured from the Plant, it was so good. The cakes looked really good, the premises are bright and fresh and the staff are super friendly. My only issue is that as I don't live in Sheffield I can't visit more regularly.

Pros: vegan food on the go , great quality, very reasonable prices
