Amazing place! - Edit
We stayed here pre-COVID so things may have changed. However, based on the website things seem the same.
Read moreThe B&B is super cute and the breakfast is delicious. Most of the food is vegan but they do have eggs from their chickens.
Pros: Super cute place, Friendly owners, Vegan options
Cons: Need to have a car or use a cab

Good stay BUT *No Food* - Edit
This property is no longer a B&B. It’s self-catering and you need to drive or bus into town for breakfast/to eat. I only gave it 3 stars because of the food situation. The Old Croft House should be removed from Happy Cow.

Amazing! - Edit
We stayed here for two nights at the end of June and it was fantastic! We stayed in the 'cosy cabin' which is a stand alone cabin just beside the main house. The area is beautiful and only a short drive from Portree, so easy access to shops and the main hub of Skye. Everything was ready on our arrival, key was in the door so we could let ourselves in and hand sanitiser was in place inside and out. The cabin itself is spacious and comfortable with ensuite shower and toilet, plus a well equipped mini kitchen with kettle, toaster, microwave and hob. The lovely owners had left sweet treats and a beautiful home made loaf of bread with preserves for us to enjoy. Breakfast was also provided for 2 mornings and it was amazing. All vegan, including home made pancakes! Another thing I loved was that there was a bin for food/composting and for recycling, plus loads of zero waste items used for storage/in the bathroom, etc. Big floofy chickens wander around to say hello and the garden is gorgeous, we were lucky to see it in bloom.
Read moreThe price per night is well worth it for comfortable, spotlessly clean accommodation, amazing home made treats, gorgeous vegan breakfast for each morning you are there, free WiFi, access to Netflix, etc and a beautiful, scenic area that is quiet but close to everything you might need.
The owners were helpful and friendly and Sam also sent out an email a few days before arrival with some great tips on the places she recommends visiting to avoid the busy hotspots. I really appreciated that sharing of knowledge and we enjoyed our stay immensely! I definitely recommend this place if you are staying on Skye.
Pros: Delicious food, Very clean, Great location

Cosy, great view, lovely hosts and amazing food! - Edit
We loved our stay at the old Croft house - the room is very cosy and nicely decorated with a lovely view of the area. Breakfast is certainly one of the best available on skye (especially if you’re vegetarian or vegan) and the afternoon cakes that appear on the side table are delicious and very welcome after a day of hiking. Would recommend to everyone - Sam and mark are great and very friendly hosts!

Vegetarian bed and breakfast in an amazing location - Edit
Sam and Mark are friendly and welcoming. The accommodation is comfortable, with its own front door and outside dining area. The scenery from the room is stunning, and the curlews cry can be heard without stepping foot outside!. All of the food is hand made and there is a wide range of vegetarian and vegan choices; all totally delicious! They can also advise about where else on the island it is possible to get decent vegan food. They gave me some great advice about some off road running routes as they are active runners/cyclists themselves. They also advised where we could enjoy all that the island has to offer without running in to hordes of tourists. One of the best holiday we have had.
