Soups and occasional specials. Always at least 3 vegan cakes, sometimes more. Hot chocolates and coffees. Menu can change day to day depending on the season. Open Mon-Sat 09:00-16:00. Closed Sun.

Excellent vegan toastie, sausage in a bun or soup. Some other items can be veganised by asking to omit the egg or cheese on top. Always at least one vegan cake and smoothie option. Oat milk. Excellent coffee. Kid and dog friendly. Uses local produce. Nice cosy atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating. Nice decor. Service can be slow but is friendly. Order at table, pay at till. Takeaway available from shop downstairs.

We've been to The Loft several times. The staff are friendly and happy to make things vegan - they often substitute non vegan ingredients because everything is made fresh on site. The cakes are great and there is always a tiffin, flapjack and biscuit that are vegan. They also sometimes have other vegan cakes available. A variety of hot chocolate options is always available. There is also a small shop which sells vegan chocolate, spreads and local products (not all vegan).
